Back at the Tina/Jack household things were going from bad to worse. Tina was suffocating with Jacks presence and his moaning and complaining. She couldnt take anymore of his excuses trying to convince her that the children were not ready for a change and that they were going to be very upset if she took them away from him and all the rest of it. Tina wanted to explode shes had enough she was ready to go.
Tina: Look Jack if the children dont leave with me soon theyll never be ready to make the move.
Jack: Tina dont be selfish you should put them first you know that!!!
Tina: Jack Ive had enough of you dont tell me what to do, remember you dont have the right anymore?
Jack: Tina please dont be obnoxious I am still their dad dont forget that!!!!!!!
Tina: Jack how can I forget when you remind me of it all the time. But I have had it. I want to go back to my home where I belong and I am taking my children with me or have you forgotten what we talked about few months ago?
Jack: Tina I havent forgotten, but I just think that it is going to be very hard on Beatrice and Melvin to just up and go and start somewhere else totally different to what they were used to.
Tina: Children are very resilient and in time they would adjust perfectly. Dont forget that I will be with them they are not going to be on their own. Bette loves children and I am sure it is not going to be a problem accommodating all of us.
Jack: Tina I am not going to argue with you anymore. I have told you before and I am going to stand by my word, if you are sure that they are going to be fine then I am going to let you and them go. I am sorry for being awkward I just love them too much and I am going to miss them dreadfully. It is not easy to let them go Tina they are my life and I live for them.
Tina: I know that Jack, but I am not leaving the country. Youll still have access to them as I promised you. But dont forget that Bette is going to have a say on the matter?!!!!!!!
Jack: Oh yah yah yah, how can I forget, my head is for the chop I am sure of it.
Tina: Listen Jack, Bette is not like that, but I think it would be fair if she decided to never let you see the children again. It was a gamble that you have taken and now you have to abide by it and pay the price so dont blame us for your shortcomings.
Jack: Alright Tina, but I want you to promise me one thing, one thing only and I am not going to ask you for anything else after that.
Tina: I dont know Jack it depends on what you are asking of me????!!!!!
Jack: Tina promise me that if Bette decided to get the police involved and I ended up in prison that youll let the children come to visit me at least once a month. Please Tina that is all I am asking of you.
Please say you will.
Tina: I dont know Jack, I really dont. We have to consider Bettes decision and her feelings about this matter. So no I cant promise you anything Jack, sorry.
Jack: Tina you know that I love you. I am so sorry for what I have put through I really am.
Tina: Jack dont say those words you know that I cant love you back. Bette is the only person that my heart has ever truly beaten for, I am in love with her Jack and Ive been for a long time. I am going to kiss her ***** and beg her to take me back. I guess I can blame you for keeping me away from her but that is not going to help any of us. I just want to be back with her.
Jack: But Tina you are not a ***** really!!!
Tina: Yes you are right Jack I am not a label, I am a person who is deeply in love with another. It is not an issue of gender or life style or anything else. Im in love with that human being, which happens to be a woman, if that is wrong in your eyes or anybody elses, well that is your opinion and dont care, that is all I know so you can look at it whichever way you want Jack but it doesnt change the fact that I am in love with Bette and I want to be with her for the rest of my life if shed have me.
Jack: So I guess that we will never have a chance ever to be together again?????
Tina: That is right Jack with my hand on my heart I am saying no way, never Jack. I will never ever be with you or anyone else but Bette this I promise you and our children. I can feel her waiting for me and yearning for my return. I have wasted much too much time and now I am going home with or without your permission Jack.
Jack: I understand Tina, I am sorry again. I will take you and the children to meet Bette again. I know that she is working at the CAC again.
Tina: What do you mean again?
Jack: Well I havent told you this but from time to time I have been watching and following Bettes movements so I noticed that she wasnt at the CAC for a while but now she is back.
Tina: Why Jack why are you so interested in Bettes movements? Why were you spying on her?
Jack: Well its curiosity I guess and intrigue, I just felt that I want to know more about the woman that you are in love with and the woman that my children were possibly going to live with.
Tina: That is not a good reason Jack and you know it, what are you up to?
Jack: Nothing Tina I promise you believe me.
Tina: Jack if you try to hurt her youll have me to answer to, I promise you I will hunt you down and kill you with my bare hands, prison or no prison.
Jack: Tina calm down girl, I am not going to hurt anyone I wasnt thinking of that I am not.
Tina: Well good because you know that even if I cant be with Bette I still dont want to be with you Jack. So you better make sure she is safe for all our sakes.
Jack: Tina dont worry she is safe, Ive seen her and observed her from a distance nearly every day for the past 2 weeks. She goes to the playground near the CAC every day between 12-2 without failing.
Tina: The playground why, why does she go there?
Jack: Well I guess it is something to do with the pram that she is pushing along.
Tina: A pram, did you say a pram or did I hear it wrong?
Jack: No you didnt, I said a pram and inside it there is definitely a baby, Ive seen her play with him and feed him sometimes. I guess its a he because he looks like a boy.
Tina: whose baby is he?
Jack: How should I know, I cant just walk to her and ask her that now, can I?
Tina was very surprised and fascinated by the news, whose baby could it be? It cant be Bettes baby she never told me that she would like to be pregnant herself. Oh my God Ive got to go. I must leave I cant stay here any longer, I am taking the children and I am going.
Tina: Jack are you sure of what you are telling me? You are not just making it up and its not one of your schemes to keep the children and me away from her?
Jack: Tina would I lie to you about something like that? I swear I saw her with a baby on her arms everyday lunch time clock work just like I said.
Tina: Jack I am sorry but I am leaving, I am taking the children and I am going right now.
Jack: Look Tina Ill take you to her, Ill drive you and the children and drop you at the playground where she will be in couple of hours and you can meet her there.
Tina was fretting and fussing and running like a headless chicken, she started to collect the twins toys and clothes and gather their staff. Jack stopped her from doing that.
Jack: Tina leave everything where is it is for now I can bring all that later. Go and get ready and like I said I will take you there.
Tina: Thank you Jack it is very kind of you. Thank you and I will call you back I promise. Oh my God I am going home I am going to see Bette again. Oh Jack you dont know how happy I am. Hang on my love I am on my way.
Tina got the twins ready and told them that she was taking them to the playground to play. Tina had butterflies in her stomach, she was very excited and it showed on her face. Jack has never seen her beaming and smiling from ear to ear like now before. There was a shine in her eyes and she looked so beautiful, it made his heart lurch and felt his stomach knotting. He strapped the kids in their chairs and opened the door for Tina, she got in and Jack drove them with complete silence. His heart was breaking he didnt want to part from his family but the time has come to deliver them to the safety of his rival. To Bettes love and entrust them in her hands.
