Ch 30

Bette and Tina joined the party again. Tina was wearing a stunning red dress and all the girls commented on her looks and on Bettes good taste. Tina noticed that the kids were getting tired and it was way passed their bedtime.
Tina: Jack I think the kids must go to bed now, they look tired and I want them to get used to and stick with the routine, so if you dont mind.
Jack: No Tina that is fine I will get them ready for bed if you like.
Tina: Yah that would be great. Did you bring the bag with their bits and pieces?
Jack: I sure did it is still in the car, I will go and fetch it, be back in a second.
Tina: Thats great. Thank you.
Beatrice and Melvin were so happy that their dad was going to stay for a bit longer and get them ready for bed.
Mummy can daddy read us a bedtime story? Beatrice said.
Yes he can, now go the two of you to the bedroom and daddy will be with you shortly, mummy has to take care of little Sasha, but first you must kiss mummy Bette goodnight and all the your new aunties too. Tina said.
Ok mummy. Melvin said. Ok mummy. Beatrice said.
Beatrice and Melvin went around kissing everyone goodnight and they kissed Bette last. Goodnight mummy B. Beatrice said. Can we have a story please?
Yes you can my honey, mummy Tina said it was ok. Bette replied.
Wow thank you mummy B I love you. Beatrice said
I love you too little princess and you little prince Melvin, now come on do as mummy Tina said. Bette said
The kids left the party still excited and full of energy and laughs.
Tina walked over to Kit wanting to take Sasha off her.
Bette: Tina I can take care of Sasha you stay here it is your party.
Tina: Bette honey it is ok I would like to take care of Sasha and get him ready for his feed and bed.
Bette: But T your dress? What if Sasha puked on you while feeding him?
Tina: B I am used to it dont worry I will take care of this gorgeous dress; Ill make sure of that. You stay with the girls and I will be out shortly.
Bette: If you insist but first can I have Sasha for a minute please? I have missed him.
Tina handed Sasha to Bette. She cuddled him closer to her chest kissed his face and told him that she loved him so much. Sasha gurgled and smiled at his mum, he was looking well and that put Bettes heart at ease.
Bette: Here you are Tina, I will come later on to check on him, but he is feeling a lot better. Thank you for doing this. I love you.
Tina: No it is my pleasure. I love you too.
Tina kissed Bette and took Sasha off her hands and went with him to the nursery. Bette noticed that Tina didnt go to the kitchen to prepare Sashas feed and she wondered why.
Jack came back with the bag and went straight to the nursery where he found his kids and Tina waiting for him.
Jack: Tina do you want me to give them a bath?
Tina: Yes please Jack I think they need it, if you dont mind?
Jack: No Tina that is fine. Ok then guys come on lets get going.
Beatrice and Melvin jumped off the bed and into their fathers strong arms. He scooped them up and took them to the bathroom for a wash. Tina was alone in the nursery feeding Sasha and thinking of the days events. She was dreading the meeting between Jack and his family. She was not sure how they are going to handle the information they are going to hear about Jack. She also worried about the girls reaction to him. Alice already feels weird around him. What is she going to do when she finds out about the real Jack?
The door to the nursery opened and Bette popped her head in and looked at Tina and was completely shocked and amazed of what she saw.
