    Alice enveloped Tina in a long hug promising her it would be ok.

    Previously 

    "Tina- wait…stop…where are you going?" Bette then noticed Tina was all dressed up- she felt like she wanted to die. Tina had come to seduce her and here she was being seduced by another woman.

    Bette was frozen as she watched Tina get into her car and drive away

    "fuck" Bette said loudly-not sure what to do next!

    Chapter 4

    Bette went back in her office. She couldn’t even look at Candace. How did her life get so out of control? She was the queen of control just a few short days ago.

    "I need to go." Bette said in a whisper as she gathered up her things.

    Candace didn’t know what to say at this point- she knew that she and Bette had a moment and there was no denying their attraction.

    "Bette- we didn’t do anything."

    "Please…please don’t talk to me." Bette said in a harsh tone as she packed her bag.

    "Bette- you can’t deny how you feel about me. Just running to her is not going to make it any better."

    "Please don’t act like you know anything about me or my relationship. Everything since the minute I met you has been a mistake."

    Candace walked over to Bette

    "Look Bette I know that it’s complicated. I know you are in a long term relationship right now. But you have to go with what you feel. You obviously don’t have a connection to her anymore. You should you follow your heart."

    "Shut the fuck up. All I have for you is a meaningless attraction- which is quickly fading. What I have with Tina is a life. She is the love of my life and I’m going to do whatever I can to get her back. Please pack your stuff- you are fired."

    Candace stood there looking at Bette in shock. "You can’t be serious?? Your show is 2 weeks away- no way someone else could come in and finish my work."

    "Right now Tina is the most important thing-not the show. I will figure out a way to make it work- all I know if that I can’t have you here."

    "Running away from me Bette isn’t gonna make your life with Tina all the sudden ok."

    2. Hoping against all hope that you do NOT follow the sshow and the way this was dealt with. Hopefully Tina will give Bette a chance to be heard. I feel for them both. Great update. Thanks for posting.

    4. Tina’s reaction is realistic. If I am at Tina’s position, I don’t think I can even look at Bette, much more listen to her explanation. Maybe if Bette will only give time for Tina to simmer down, just like Alice said, Tee might give Bette a chance to explain. Bette…. You should really, really work hard to gain back Tee’s trust. Bette also has a lot in her plate. The show, finding a new carpenter and fixing her relationship. If Bette really love Tina and really sorry, I don’t think at this point of time, Bette will be able to concentrate on her work, much more do the show. I think, Bette should re-book the show, if not possible she really has to be honest with her boss that she couldn’t do it and concentrate on getting Tina back. This will prove to Tina that she is ready to give up everything to get her back. Candace is just so full of herself. Trying to lure Bette of her feelings. I’m proud of Bette firing her. I hope B&T work this out…..Thanks for posting.

    5. I always felt that IC took too long for Tina to forgive Bette. Yes, Bette did a heinous thing but she didn’t murder anyone and in your story she didn’t sleep w/Candace. They need to work things out.

    7. Alice’s trust in Bette is astounding… slready figuring there was another woman.And Tina, Tina jumped to conclusions… albeit the almsot right one, but she still jumped. Bah, Bette and Tina need to really talk… and soon.

    8. tina did jump to conclusions instead of listening to bette, just shows that their relationship does need a lot of mending to do, and talking to each other should help

    9. I always thought it was funny that Alice did not want to take sides but did anyway. Now Tina to run away like she did so like her. Bette did not cheat but Tina would not here what Bette wanted to say. Thank you Great Chapter!!! PPS
