    Bette soon fell asleep also and they both got some very much needed sleep.

    "I can’t make any promises to you right now Bette."

    "I understand T." Bette walked over to where Tina was standing. She reached up and moved Tina’s chin up so that she could see into her eyes. "Tina I love you. Please remember that."

    Tina’s eyes filled with tears, and Bette saw what had been desperate to see- love reflecting back in Tina’s eyes. She knew that they still had work to do, but she also knew that they could make it if they loved each other enough.

    Tina remained silent as Bette walked backed into their bedroom. Tina finally released the breath she was holding and let a few tears flow down her cheeks. The part that hurt Tina the most is that she still loved Bette with all her heart, but right now she didn’t trust her. She had given Bette everything and Bette threw it away on that kiss.

    In their bedroom Bette quickly got dressed. She felt better about she and Tina’s relationship. She knew she needed to spend some hours at the CAC- she at least owed it to the artists to still put on a good show.   I just hope she is here when I get home Bette prayed to herself   Bette walked out into the living room and was hopeful when she saw Tina standing in the kitchen going through the mail.   "Hey T- I’m gonna head out, but I won’t stay at work late. Maybe we can have dinner together?" Bette said so hopefully   "We will see Bette. Please don’t push me."

    "I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I will call you a little later ok."

    "Ok."

    Bette walked over to Tina not sure if she was going to try and kiss her or settle for a hug. She looked up into Tina’s eyes and knew she should just go for a hug. She leaned in and felt Tina respond to the hug. Bette felt Tina relax into her arms. It felt so amazing to be holding Tina again.

    "I love you T." Bette whispered into Tina’s ear. Chills erupted all over Tina’s body. She wanted to tell Bette she loved her too because she did- but she couldn’t bring herself to say anything. Bette slowly pulled away and couldn’t resist- she leaned in and kissed Tina’s cheek gently. Tina was caught off guard, but she craved the affection from Bette so she let her kiss her. Bette slowly pulled away looking into Tina’s eyes as she did. Bette didn’t want to leave. She could see Tina’s walls breaking down and she was scared that if she left they would go back up. Tina could also feel that her walls were breaking- she wanted Bette to kiss her she need the comfort of Bette to make it through this, but it was so sad because Bette was the one who caused all this pain.

    3. Tina is gonna be a little confused and conflicted when she wakes up, I think.I love the way you describe Tina’s thoughts and feelings. I can really sense her pain. They need to do a lot more talking before healing takes place.

    4. i hope tina won’t get mad when she wakes up but it was such a nice visual…as long as they can talk and work things out, they can start rebuilding their trust

    6. At least there is some conversation taking place between the two women. With that taking place there is still hope Bette and Tina will work through their issues.

    11. Blad that Bette told Tina the truth. Now that they’ve had that talk, things will get better for them, one day at a time. They still love each other so much and “this too shall pass.” Bette needs to have James call Candace and tell her not to call anymore and if she does, Bette will consider it harrassment and will have her arrested and file suit against her.
