Rays of soft light filter through the semi closed blinds and filled the room with a warm comforting aura. Bette slowly opened her eyes, rolled over and smiled slightly as she looked at Tina’s sleeping form. Tina lay slightly curled to one side, a small smile still remained on her lips. Stretching Bette realized that for the first time since the situation with Jodi started she felt completely rested and at peace. Moving quietly so as not to wake Tina Bette rolled from the bed and headed toward the washroom to prepare for her day. Once she was dressed she was going to get Angie from her crib, make sure she was fed and then prepare T a breakfast in bed.

40 minutes later

Leaving Angie safely playing in her play area Bette headed down the hall with the a tray bearing the breakfast of bacon and eggs she had prepared and a small vase with a fresh picked bouquet of garden flowers. Pushing the door open gently with her foot Bette entered the bedroom. She was slightly surprised to find herself looking into a set of sleep clouded, sexy hazel eyes.

"What’s this Porter?? Trying to bribe me?"

Chuckling as she approached the bed Bette answered, "Always, you mean you are just catching on now?"

Setting the tray down softly on Tina’s outstretched legs Bette leaned in and kissed Tina’s lips slowly and deeply.

"Well it’s obviously worked if I haven’t noticed till now. And I would highly recommend that you continue."

"Happy to oblige. Angie is fed and playing and I have a phone call to make. What is the best time for you for meeting with Jodi?"

"Production is scheduled to finish at 1:30 today so anytime after that will work"

"I’ll be in the office, don’t forget to come and say goodbye before you head out. I’ll call you with the exact time and place later and drop Angie at the sitter’s on the way."

(Tina after taking a mouthful of her breakfast) "Not bad, not bad… you have obviously improved your cooking skills"

(leaning in and placing a kiss on Tina’s forehead) "I had a great teacher".

Getting to her feet Bette winked at T and headed in the direction of the home office. Already her mind was refining the conversation she was about to have.
