Family that shops together, bonds together.

Morning came; Tina went in the kitchen and found Katherine having coffee. She grabbed a cup and set with her.

Tina: Good morning.
Katherine: Morning, so we have a full day ahead?
Tina: Yeah, we need to get clothes, flowers, and whatever else we can think of.
Katherine: Well Im glad we have sometime alone this morning. She took Tinas hand.
I owe you for bringing Bette back into my life. Ill never forget this Tina.
Tina: Katherine, Bette did it herself, she needed you, and I just gave her a little push.
Katherine: I can see by the way you two look at each other, youre deeply in love.
Tina: I love her so much. Shes my world, and I know she loves me. She shows me everyday in some way.
Katherine: Im so happy she has someone like you Tina, you compliment each other well.
Tina: Thank you. Katherine thank you for coming and accepting Bette and me.

Maggie came in then and joined them. They exchanged good mornings.
Tina: Im going to wake up Bette and Erin, then jump in the shower, we have a busy day. You two have coffee and relax.

Tina went to the bedroom; she looked at Bette lying naked, half of her covered under the sheet. She was always so shocked at Bettes beauty, it was like the first time she seen her every time. Her smooth mocha skin, the perfectly toned body. She looked so at peace in sleep. Tina went over and kissed her lightly.

Tina: Baby time to get up.
Bette: Mm, no.
Tina: yes, Bette, we gotta lot to do today. Come on and get up.
Bette: No T, please ten more minutes.
Tina: Okay Ill go get in the shower, but when I come out you better be up. She leaned in and kissed her.
Bette: pulled her down on the bed. Maybe Ill shower with you.
Tina: Uh babe, our moms are in having coffee and fixing breakfast.
Bette: Oh *****, I forgot.
Tina: reaching under the sheet she pinched Bettes nipple. Parts of you are awake.
Bette kissed her deeply.
Tina slapped her ***** and got up. She went and woke up Erin, then got in the shower.

Bette went out and had a cup of coffee with the moms. She heard Tina go in the bedroom and went for her turn in the shower and for Tina to unwrap her hand. She ran into Erin in the hallway.
Bette: Morning Erin.
Erin: Yeah its morning alright, damn early morning. What the *****?
Bette: Tina has an agenda for us today. She ruffled her hair and smiled at her. Bette went to the bedroom and had Tina look at her hand. She assured Tina she could shower by herself.

When she came out Tina met her in the bedroom to help her dress and wrap her hand. They went to the living room to meet the others. Everyone was waiting for the agenda.

Erin was wearing army green colored cargo pants, low rise, a skin tight black t-shirt with the word DREAM on the front, and combat boots. She had a back pack and a 35mm camera over her shoulder.
Bette: You brought your camera?
Erin: I thought Id take pictures of us shopping and stuff, you know capture the moments.
Bette: Great idea!

Tina: Ok, heres the plan. Bette and I both need to find something to wear for the ceremony. So mom and Erin go with me. Bette you and Katherine can go together. Well meet for lunch, and then at four oclock we are to be at Paulines to pick out flowers.
Is every one alright with that?
Bette, Erin, Maggie and Katherine: Okay, Yeah, Sounds good.

Bette: But T you forgot one thing. I cant drive.
Tina: *****! I forgot. Im sorry and youll need some one to help you try on clothes.
Katherine: I can drive, and I can help my little girl try on clothes.
Bette: Im sorry mom; Im just not used to..
Tina: cut her off. She hates being taken care of. She hates not being in control. She absolutely hates it. Tina kissed her. Bette flipped her middle finger at her.
Bette: With my love of course.

They all headed out and agreed to meet at a caf they like for lunch.
Bette directed her mom where to go, her favorite shops.
Katherine: So what are we looking for? A suit, dress or what?
Bette: I want to be comfortable, so pants I guess. Im sure Tina will get a dress.
Katherine: So white, or ivory, what color?
Bette: White, definitely white. Something comfy, cool and white.

Katherine: I cant remember the last time we went shopping together.
Bette: taking her hand. Me neither, but Im looking forward to it. Mama Ive missed you. Im so sorry for the way Ive treated you, for letting Melvin control my thoughts, everything, Im sorry for everything.
Katherine: Its all in the past Bette. Lets forget it and start anew. I love you and want to be your mother and your friend.
Bette: Thank you, and thanks for sharing this special time with me, with us.
Katherine: Tinas a very special person and I love her already, her family is very nice too. You two are so good together. She loves you very much you know?
Bette: I know, and I love her, Ive never felt this way about anyone. She completes me.
Katherine: Thats the way love should be. Im happy for you both and Ill always support you Bette. Always.
Bette leaned over and kissed her mom on the cheek.

Tina, Maggie, and Erin were enjoying there time together. Tina had picked out several dresses to try on. They were all white; one had a pale pink trim. She tried them all on, and had her mom and Erin give opinions. When they had all agreed on one, Tina got the accessories and shoes. She also had Maggie and Erin find something; her little sister was reluctant but finally gave in.

Maggie chose a very light blue dress that was perfect for her. And Erin picked out a white funky top with yellow and red embroidery on it, and a pair of khaki pants, very hippy like but looked great on her.

Bette was trying on another suit. This was not fun. Just as she was getting ready to tell her mom she was giving up, Katherine brought in the perfect outfit. Bette tried it on and loved it. Katherine had found something as well, it was a lilac colored skirt and blouse, the coloring was very pretty on her.

They all met for lunch and then went to the florist. Bette and Tina just sat back and let their mothers have fun and decide.
Bette: Just keep it simple.
Tina: We want white, and maybe a pale pink for an accent color.
Bette: Other than that anything is fine.
Maggie and Katherine had a blast picking out the flowers and Bette and Tina thought they had excellent taste and had made great choices.

They all went home and Maggie insisted on cooking that night. After dinner they were all exhausted from the day and just laid around and visited. Tina told Maggie and Erin the news about Vanessa moving to LA. Finally they found a movie on TV they wanted to watch, after a while everyone was falling asleep so they said their goodnights and went to bed.
As Bette and Tina were getting ready for bed some one was knocking at their bed room door.

Tina: yes?
Erin: Tina can I talk to Bette?
Bette: opening the door. Sure Boo come in. Erin came into the room
Bette: Whats up?
Erin: Bette you think you could look at some of my photos tomorrow? I brought them for you to get your opinion, and I brought some sketches of a metal sculpture Im doing.
Bette: Sure, Id love to. When we get back from x-raying my hand. Why dont you and I spend the day together?
Erin: Cool, okay. Erin left and went to bed.


As Bette and Tina lay in bed.
Bette: T, why dont we ask Erin to take the pictures at the ceremony?
Tina: You sure? You wanted to get Marco.
Bette: Ive seen her work before, shes good. I think it would make her feel more involved, and she doesnt cost as much as Marco.
Tina: kissing her. Youre such a softy. Yeah lets ask her.
Bette: I have some things I need to do tomorrow like planning our honeymoon, and we can go by the gallery, she loves to visit it. She can help me make some decisions and I love hanging out with her, shes a great kid.
Tina: Great! Ill take the moms. Well go to the gardens and plan arrangements and stuff. But first we re-x-ray you and hopefully get the splint off.
Bette: Lets hope.

They fell asleep holding each other exhausted and content. Just feeling each other close was all they needed to get a good nights sleep and dream of each other.
