Gemma and Bette approached the The Hotel Inn and booked into they rooms for the one night, Gemma took care off all the expenses, but Bette wanted to pay for something, Gemma reassured Bette that she had paid her back in kind and this was the least she could do to thank Bette for coming all those distance with her, Bette and Gemma parted at the rooms entrance which was facing each other, Bette walked into her room and took her clothes off neatly and changed into night clothes, even though it was still light outside Bettes head no sooner hit the pillow and she was asleep.

Bettes eyes opened at 6.30pm she lay still and listened to her stomach growling, she thought she would jump in the shower, then get dressed and go down and grab some dinner.
The shower woke Bette, and made her feel refreshed she dried her hair and dressed into trousers and white fitted t shirt, she put a jacket on and was just picking up her hand bag when she heard a knock at the door, Bette walked over to the door and opened it to find Gemma smiling
I thought you would be hungry so Im taking you out is that ok?
You must have heard my stomach from across the hall, I was just about to head down to the restaurant and grab something to eat! Gemma smiled and they both walked over to the elevator, Gemma was dressed casual and Bette noticed that the sleep had made Gemma more relaxed, Tina was always ratty when she hadnt got much sleep and she knew Gemma must be the same from her emotional state when leaving Gemmas family house.
So where we going to eat?
Well thats a surprise but I have hired a car so we can stay out until we are tired Im sure you are still on American Time, because I sure am
Bette smiled and was grateful Gemma had thought about eating due to the fact, she wanted to talk to Gemma more, and didnt fancy eating alone.

Bette walked around to the Passenger side and found herself staring into the drivers seat,
Well Bette you can drive if you like but somehow I get the impression you dont know where you are going Bette laughed realising her mistake as she walked around to the other side of the car, Gemma realised the central locking and they both climbed in to the Golf Volkswagen, Gemma checked both mirrors and drove out of the Hotels parking lot.

Bette looked as they approached a big centertainment centre, which had restaurants Cinemas bowling alleys and an arena, Gemma explained that it had only been built about five years ago to accommodate the Medowhall shopping centre.
So where do you fancy eating? Gemma asked as she parked the car
Im not quite sure but I would really wouldnt mind you choose? Gemma smiled and pointed to the restaurant Boardwalk
You will love it in here Bette, the meals are fantastic and you can get a good glass of red wine the two woman walked over to the restaurant and entered via the side entrance, the waiter guided them to a non smoking table for two.

The two woman ordered a starters and main course followed by dessert, Bette enjoyed every bite and found the portions to be the right size, Gemma spoke of when her and family would come for special occasions for birthdays etc, and each time they came would draw on the paper table cloth with crayons, now even though this sounded childish Bette found herself doing the exact same thing, Gemma said that this was the experience of eating at the boardwalk.
So Bette I know that you would really want to maybe buy some gifts, I hope I am assuming right because we have one of the biggest shopping malls all to ourselves I arranged it Yesterday, I know the main boss who owns Medowhall, and even though it was short notice he has arranged it, I hope that is ok?
Bette sipped from her wine glass as Gemma spoke
Thank you Gemma, I thought I would have to pick some novelty present up from the airport, or worst of all from the plane
Thats ok I kind of wanted to pick some present up for my new friends so you know kill two birds with one stone!

Gemma settled the bill of 39.69 she left a tip by rounding the meal to Fifty pounds the two women walked towards the car, So Gemma how far is this Medowhall? Bette asked thinking that it would be at least a good hours journey, Ten minutes if that Gemma answered as they left the centertainment.

Bette looked as they approached the main car park of Medowhall it was now dark, and all the fairy lights lit this massive retail shopping centre, they got out of the car and was greeted by a two woman walking towards them
You must be Gemma, Hi Im Sue and this is Elizabeth and we will be helping with your purchases this evening Mr Simi has requested that what ever you need do not to hesitate to ask and we will provide
Gemma shuck both Sue and Elizabeths hand Thank you for staying behind and helping us out, your generosity is appreciated and I will make sure you are taken care of Gemma responded as they approached the main entrance to Medowhall.

The Two assistants watched and waited for Gemma and Bette to decide where to go first, I know Bette why dont you go with Sue and Elizabeth if I walk around with you, and meet when ever your ready? Gemma spoke all woman agreed.
Elizabeth just phone me when Miss Charlesworth wishes to meet up with Miss Porter ok? Elizabeth nodded and watched as Bette and Sue walked towards the Main Jewellers, Gemma smiled as she looked at Elizabeth

Well Miss Charlesworth when I heard you was in town for one night, well lets just say I couldnt resist the chance of a last goodbye again! Gemma laughed and pulled Lizzy into a passionate embrace.

Well I need two new wedding bands if possible, god this is so strange?

Yes of course Miss Porter what type gold would you like that Sue walked towards the cabernet and took out a selection and placed them on the counter so Bette could see the selection.
It didnt take long for Bette to decide she spotted the two wedding bands straight away, the two white gold bands one had five diamonds imbedded into the surface of the two rings were perfect for Tina and herself, a new start Bette thought, Bette took out her Gold card and Sue took part payment,

Sue smiled and indicated for Bette to sign On Miss Charlesworths instructions I am afraid Bette signed why was Gemma being so generous, Bettes next stop would be to Miss Senza to buy her Tina ***** laundry.

Sue you get to make your own Bear? Bette noticed a Bear Factory
Yes Miss Porter it has its own Birth certificate a perfect gift if I might say Bette walked towards the shop and looked at all the bear skins, she choose a classic bear skin, and told Sue she wanted the bear to be soft, Sue began making the bear by first inserting the inside, Sue passed Bette a tiny red shaped material heart
Make a wish Miss Porter, kiss the heart and then insert into the back of your bear Bette did as she was asked and watched as she sewed the back of the bear, Sue finished and handed Bette the Bear,
So Miss Porter what would you like your bear to be called? Bette looked at the bear and one single name popped into her mind
Id like to Call the Bear Bump Porter Sue inserted the name into the computer and printed the new bears details out, Bette let sue put the bear and his new birth certificate into the box, a perfect Gift for her and Tinas baby she thought.

Bette looked at her watch and noticed walking around it was now 11pm she wanted to get back to the Hotel and phone Tina
Sue could you phone your assistant and see If Gemma is ready to leave

Elizabeth is Miss Charlesworth ready, ok good we will meet you at the main entrance

Sue and Bette walked towards the main entrance and saw Gemma and Elizabeth in conversation, Gemma had several bags and Elizabeth held a small bag
Thank you Sue and Liz I mean Elizabeth it had been a pleasure Bette looked at the expression on Gemmas face as she said Goodbye to both assistants, Gemma picked up all her bags as Bette carried hers.

So Gemma you get everything you needed? asked Bette and knew that before Gemma answered she had,
Yes! and more than I bargained for also thank you, look like you did also Gemma nodded at the bags
I did thank you for contributing half toward everything I purchased tonight, but they was no need Gemma looked offended Well Bette dont be it was worth the extra money to catch up with Elizabeth if you know what I mean, so thank you the two woman placed all the bags in the trunk and got into the car and headed back to the hotel, Gemma needed to catch up on sleep, and Bette had a important call to make.
