    Breathless Part 3

After two attempts of nudging Dana with an elbow, Tonya felt relief as Dana finally came back to reality.

"Uhhmm, sorry, what’s your question again?" Dana tried very hard to act as if nothing happened.

So the reporter repeated her question again while Alice shifted uncomfortably in her seat. She was annoyed that Dana was still looking at her and wanted nothing but to walk out from the room immediately. Dana composed herself before she attempted the question. The reporter was pretty much satisfied at it as she nodded and sat down on her chair. Dana thanked the reporter for the question, but actually it was just an excuse for her to look longer at that direction.

"Beautiful huh?" Tonya whispered as the chairlady wrapped up the session.

"Yeah…" Dana said softly, admiring the beauty she had her eyes on.

    "Hmm, but too bad.."

Dana shifted her attention to Tonya.

"What do you mean?" Dana gave her the puzzled look.

"I said too bad. You were supposed to meet her yesterday night."

Dana’s mouth dropped and stared at Tonya with her trademark goofy look, in which Tonya decided to play with Dana for a while. She pouted and shrugged her shoulders. Then the chairlady ended the press conference and thanked all the parties involved.

"Uhh, she’s the reporter from..uhmm, New York Times?" Dana asked, not believing how stupid she was by canceling the interview in the first place.

"Yes and no…" Tonya said matter of fact.

"But you are not interested anyway, so who cares." Tonya grabbed her handbag and stood up, ready to leave, but Dana grabbed her hand while she stood up.

"Hey, tell me now or I’m gonna knock onto your door in the middle of the night! You know you hate that!" Tonya laughed as she saw determination in Dana’s tone.

    "Ok." she said.

"Hmm, but not now. You better introduce her to me first." Dana grinned from ear to ear.

"Hmm, our famous lezzy tennis player is a little anxious today, huh?" Tony wiggled her eyebrows.

"Yeah, whatever, come on, before she left." Dana blushed as she looked at the stranger’s direction and relief as she saw her standing in front of her seat, waiting for her turn to exit the conference room.

    1. Another great post! Two from you too? Not to exaggerate, I must be dreaming with all these fantastic Danish stories today. I like the idea of Tonya actually being helpful and not like being the scary robot. lol. I sure hope that A would change her impression of D during the interview. It was excellent that they both felt the jolt of electricity. Can’t wait for your next installment. Again, thank you very much uhhuh!

    2. Loved it!! I really like the Dana/Tonya dynamic in this story. Hopefully Alice soon lets the attraction overcome her nervousness in Dana’s presence. And hopefully Dana gets her act together before she makes many more miscues. I am really enjoying this story and the build-up, uhhuh. I am looking forward to the actual interview. Thanks!!
