    Bette has Tina over for dinner and they have a very emotional talk.

    Stirring the chicken “I think Chinese would have been a better choice, I know Tina and I talking might be awkward and for me to be cooking is absolutely insane.” Shaking her head

    “You’re correct about being uncomfortable, that is exactly why you cooking will help ease the awkwardness”

    “Great, so my shitty culinary skills and maybe ruining dinner will somehow be funny and help remove our feeling ill at ease with each other! Why do I not completely understand this concept of yours” challenging Audrey

    “You have to admit Tina will get a big kick out of it and you have recently commented wanting to learn how to cook so what’s the harm, and Bette you can not screw up this meal, I guarantee it” smiling into the phone

    “Ok I’m holding you to that, I better go Tina and Angie will be here in 25 minutes”

    “Remember shake the sauce before you put it into the chicken and don’t start cooking the pasta till she arrives, most of all try to relax”

    “Thanks Audrey you’re always there for me, I owe you big time.”

    “Bette, you’re welcomeif I might suggest it wouldn’t hurt to turn on some of that Porter charm tonight” smiling

    “Cooking and now you want charm” laughing “You’re awfully demanding, I’ll talk to you tomorrow” Bette hangs up the phone

     

    Looking out the kitchen window she sees Tina’s car parking, Bette quickly glances into the dinning room to be sure everything is ready.  Taking a big breath and opens the front door.

    She greets Tina and Angelica with a friendly wave “Hi” reaching for the diaper bag Tina has over her shoulder “let me help you with that”

    “Thanks” Tina replies with a pleasant smile and walks into the house.

    Bette kisses Angie on the cheek and motions to the big baby blanket on the floor “I usually put Angie on the blanket while I work in the kitchen”

    “Good idea” as she sets Angie down on the blanket noticing Bette has laid out several toys for her to play with Angie immediately reaches for the soft large red ball.  Quickly noticing the pleasing aroma coming from the kitchen. With a big smile “Bette are you cooking dinner? it smells delicious” she walks over and peers into the pan Bette is stirring.

    3. Great chapter, yeah don’t let the season get you down. It’s your story and you have shaped these characters to what you wnat, so just continue with the flow.

    5. I am so glad they finaly opened up about there past realationship and all that whent wrong, mayby now Tina can let Bette in a little more. Post real soon, love your story.

    6. It was sweet how they were playful with one another in the kitchen. And it was honestly beautiful and heartbreaking when Bette finally talked to Tina about the failure of their marriage. Please keep them talking…keep them wanting to speak to one another openly and honestly. Please continue.

    7. I see who the stonger one is, It was Tina On the show tonight It was Bette, I wouldnt have had the will power to walk away for what was offer. IC can take her show but she sure needs to get new writer, We are not giving her any of ours thanks

    9. Didn’t Bette just come back from banging the h*ll out of Audrey the other night? Well, they really aren’t dating, so I guess Bette is techically telling the truth. Hope this works for them.

    11. “…dated no one since our breakup.” Is Bette gonna regret that statement? They may not be dating but they have been doing something. Enjoying your story. Please lead us where your Tibette heart takes you. ~whispering~ We can just ignore the show for now!

    12. I loved this chapter. I hope that you will allow them to continue with the healing process. Even if they do not make it all the way back to each other (but you should let them get back together) at least they made an effort.
