Morning with the gang at the Planet
Alice and Dana came though the door seeing a table in the corner with Shane, Carmen, and Bette having coffee.
Alice: Good morning everyone, you guys missed a great show at the Bette Porter Gallery last night. ( Alice smiling at Bette as she continued telling how the show was a complete success.)
Shane: Bette sounds like your gallery is gaining popularity as THE Gallery.
Bette: Well we did have a great show and Alice was a huge help but I don’t think I’d say it’s THE Gallery.(smiling modestly)
Alice: Porter since when did you become so humble, take all the credit, your show was absolutely a huge success.
Bette: Alice its good to remain humble it helps you stay focused on what is really important in life and keeps you grounded.
Alice: And what are those things that are important Bette? If I remember its your work that is top of your list?
Bette: (grinning) Alice if I ever need an investigative reporter you will be the one .. so direct with your questions. (smiling)
Bette: I think your work is important but I have learned family and loved ones are much more important, work is just a means to give stability and security but family is everything.
Bette lowers her head and Alice can see her emotions getting the best of her.
Alice: Sorry Bette no need to start the morning off with a sad note.
Alice rubs Bette’s back
Shane: Well sorry to leave early but I have a client waiting.
Carmen: Ya I need to go also, everyone have a nice day.
Shane and Carmen leave arm and arm
Alice: They make a cute couple(grinning)
Dana: I have a tennis lesson to give so see you guys later. Dana gives Alice a kiss
Bette: Is Dana a tennis instructor now?
Alice: Yes she has 3 classes a week with kids age 8-12, and she really enjoys teaching.
Bette: Wow that’s great it’s wonderful when your wife is happy at work.
Alice: Ya we are getting along great
Alice: You talking about the important things in life being family and loved ones (Alice hesitates)… it’s been over a year maybe its time for you to start seeing people, might be good for you?

Hey, I like this Audrey. right up Bette’s alley. Hopefully they can hook up for awhile. Maybe get a healthier perspective of her and Tina’s relationship.
