Two Weeks Later…
Bette walked into The Planet with Pax, Alex and Trix. They immediately ran to their aunt. Bette followed them smiling.
“Hi, Kit.” She greeted her sister, who was being hugged by her nephew and nieces.
“Het, baby sis. Where’s Diego?” Kit asked.
“With his brother. They are visiting his mother… Uh, Kit, can I talk to you later?” Bette wanted to know.
Kit frowned. “Sure, baby sis, is everything okay?”
“Yeah, no… I don’t know.” Bette said. Kit nodded.
She looked at her nieces and nephew. “I’m going to give you three pancakes and you can sit with Alice while I talk to your Mom. Okay?” She asked.
They all nodded. The kids ran to the table were Alice, Dana and Shane were sitting. Shane was just new to the gang and the kids didn’t know her that well. Kit said to one of the waiters to give the kids pancakes and then, Bette followed her sister into her office and they sat down on the couch.
“What is wrong with my baby sis?” Kit asked concern evident in her voice.
“I… I… My marriage isn’t going good, Kit.” Bette said.
“Why? What’s wrong?” The older women wanted to know.
“We are more like… best buddies but we do kiss, it’s weird.” Bette said.
“So, the sex disappeared?” Kit asked. Bette turned crimson.
“Kind of.” Bette said, she wanted to say something more but hesitated.
“Bette? If you tell A, you have to tell B to.” Kit said.
“I… when we do… you know… I… I… think about someone else.” Bette told her sister, this was hard but she couldn’t keep it in anymore.
Kit gasped. “Are you serious?”
“Yeah.” Bette said, shamefully.
“Who?”
Bette rubbed her forehead. “A colleague of mine.”
“Who is he?” Kit asked.
Bette sighed and laid her head in her hands. “It’s not a he…” She whispered. Kit frowned.
“What? Speak clearer Bette.” Kit said. Bette looked at Kit.
“It’s a woman, okay?!” She freaked out and felt immediately sorry. “I didn’t mean to scream Kit… Sorry.”
Kit sighed. “A woman? Bette, you are straight. How can you be attracted to her?”
Bette shook her head. “Kit, do I look like I know. I have no fucking clue. All I know is that I can’t get her out of my head, I feel alive when I’m near her, I get this giddy feeling whenever she is close, she is really the most beautiful human being I’ve ever known, when she touches me, it’s like there is a fucking explosion in my heart. I’ve never felt this way before.”

Yes, the girls do need to talk with one another, IN PERSON, not on Facebook, email or the telephone because all those conversations can be traced and a transcript provided for opposing counsel in a divorce hearing. Facebook is the most impersonal thing in the world and should not be used for intimate conversations, nothing is private about that thing. I can’t imagine Kit telling Bette to tell her husband that she has feelings for a woman. WRONG!!!!. In a divorce court, he could take his children from her and not even let her see them ever again. She does not need to tell Diego anything about her feelings except that she is not in love with him, she cares for him but that is not enough for her. She MUST NOT under any circumstances tell him about Tina or any other woman she might have feelings for. The world does not work like that and the law certainly doesn’t. So I beg of you, don’t have her tell Diego about anything to do with feelings for a woman. That is absolutely the wrong thing to do. There are a couple states that will not take the chidlren without giving her visitation rights but on a whole, the system is geared toward the parent that does not have gay tendencies, and right now Bette doesn’t know what she is feeling.
Oh man this is gonna get messy, ain’t it? It’s tough when kids are involved. But ultimately if Bette isn’t happy then the smartest thing she can do is get herself out of it. Tina and Bette need to speak to each other ASAP!
Damn this gonna be a big drama and bad, but now let Bette and Tina talk first and tell each other how they fell and they go from there and deal with everything. Glad Tina broke up with carl and now let see what are they gonna do now. Please post more, thanks!
