Bette had been avoiding Tina for the past three days. The brown-haired woman found it like not eating for three days, it was awful. She craved to talk to the blonde-haired woman as she did on Monday but something inside of her said it wasn’t good to be around her. It was too weird, the feelings she was having.

Bette walked through the hallway when she saw Tina walking towards her. Her heart began beating harder and her hands got sweaty. She was surprised when Tina stopped in front of her, placing one had on her hip.

“Hi.” Bette said.

“Hey… You’ve been avoiding me.” Tina stated in a matter of fact way. Bette gulped.

“No, I haven’t.” Bette said, a little bit too fast.

“Yes, you have. I have no idea why but you did avoid me. What did I do wrong?” Tina asked. Bette looked around and saw there weren’t many people in the hallway.

“You didn’t do anything wrong. I was busy and I really didn’t feel like talking. I’m sorry.” Bette said.

“It’s okay, I just thought I had in some way done something wrong and I really want us to get along.” Tina told Bette.

“I want that to.” Bette said, forcing a smile. “I think I’m going to go to my classroom. My students will be waiting for me.”

“Sure, is it okay if I sit with you during lunch?” Tina asked. Bette smiled and nodded. “Okay.” She answered. “See you later.” Bette added. “Yep.” Tina said and they walked each to the opposite side. Bette closed her eyes and sighed. She knew lunch would be hard. Tina was like an addiction she tried to suppress but that she couldn’t resist. She knew that she broke her promise to herself rather quickly but how could you say no to Tina? Beautiful, funny and smart Tina… Bette had no idea. She would try to stop thinking about the blonde all the time. She couldn’t seem to get her of her mind and frankly, she didn’t want to. Just thinking about Tina’s smile lights her day up. She took one deep breath before walking into her classroom.

“Take your seats please…” She said.

Bette walked into the teacher’s room, looking around for Tina. She saw that Alice and Dana were now sitting at the table, eating their lunch. What a wonder. She walked over and sat down with her friends.
