    God…If I had any doubt. It vanished in the moment she called me T. God! I love the way she gave it to me. Just that T made me swirl.

     

    “And dependent on your answer, we’ll just pretend that this night, this ride, never happened.” Her eyes came from the window to fire in my eyes. “But see, Tomorrow I’ll be gone…” And she tried to ease the moment, a smile warming her face, “It’s take it or leave it…”

    It took me five seconds.  I only could give her a line: “Bette… I would never leave it.”

     

    The tension lived her face promptly, like by a miracle. Her smiled dancing freely.  Suddenly she stooped and frowned again looking straight ahead, confused… “I just forget to think where we could go…” Her head turned to found my eyes. She dressed one of her melting smiles and, I understood the moment she looked at me, that  Bette wanted to share, want to enjoy with me the thought that she was not alone in this wish.

     

    “So where can we go Tina?”

     

    “Give me one second!” That’s all I could say. I entered at the sorority house, jumped the stairs, two by two.

    In the message I wrote: “I’ll be ok…Just don’t call me tonight! I fucking mean it, Alice! xoxo PS: Don’t you dare!”.

     

    I grabbed the keys and again, flowed over the stairs.

     

    “Would you mind if I drive?” I could see  Bette was surprised, but she didn’t deny it.

     

    “Sure… Sure…”

     

    We went to Shanes´s apartment. I knew she was traveling. I used to go there to study, to rest,  or to have some time alone… Shane knew that sometimes life with Alice could be stressful. Shane added that I also could bring my dates, with her blessing, but I never did. I don’t have too much time for dating. Surely I got a lot of sex.  Lot of and good. And NO! I’m not one of those Sandra Dee’s sisters .I am much more a Catherine Trammel’s girls. Without the ice pick, don’t you worry…So…

     

     Anyway…I don’t want to date, I don’t want something permanently. It’s satisfactory this way.
