It was almost a month after that weird meeting with Helena. Things had gone quite well for Bette. She and Tina had both talked about their past . Bette had introduced Tina to Kit and the rest of the gang and Tina had blended in ,except she was a little shy around Alice ,which Alice, being Alice had called her on.
“Why do you act so weird when I’m around?” Alice asked her one night when they were alone in the lady’s room at the planet.
“I feel so embarrassed…for the way I treated you the first time we met,… I was not myself that night…I apologize”
“Hey ,don’t worry about it” Alice said, trying to joke it off, “Porter has that effect on everyone”…They laughed it off and that was that.
Tina and Bette started spending more time together_____to the disapproval of Helena, who thought that Bette was only going to break Tina’s heart.
The more time they spent together, the more Tina realized that there was much more to Bette Porter than she let people see. She was ,kind, loving funny as well as being beautiful. She was a really classy lady, she never pressured Tina into anything, and Tina , in spite of Helena’s constant warnings believed Bette when she said ,she truly wanted to spend time with her and get to know her.
One evening they were all at the Planet having drinks, when a snake in the form of Jody Lerner decided to rear it’s ugly head.
“Shit!”, coming from Alice, “Don’t look now but I think we are in for some drama tonight, one of your mistakes is heading this way Bette, and she doesn’t look pleased.”
“Fuck,” Bette said, as she saw Jody coming towards their table, “This can’t be good”
“Why?___ do you ?___alllllwaaays go for the crazies?” Alice asked “present company excluded of course.” as she looks over at Tina. “I always knew there was something wrong with her ,and…..”
“Shut up!, Alice” both Bette and Shane screamed
“What am I missing?” Tina asked, looking a little uncomfortable.
“Nothing” ,Bette said to Tina, “I’ll take care of this” to Alice she said, “Will you ever learn to keep your mouth shut?”

This Tina is different and Bette needs to realize that she needs and will work harder to win Tina. Stay tight on this one Tina thanks
By the way she treated Jody, the castoff lover, Bette has shown Tina just how cruel, rude and inconsiderate she can be. I don’t blame Tina for folding her tent and stealing away into the night. Good luck, Bette! I wouldn’t give you a second look.

Bette is in need of an attitude change. You can get pissed at jodi but Bette needs to respects others feelings. It seems to have come back on Bette due to her previous behavior with women. Maybe Tina will be the one woman to force Bette to grow up, per se’.

I can’t say that I blame Tina. It would’ve been difficult to sit & watch Bette and Jodi exchange words. Tina must be feeling like this weeks flavor of the week and Bette needs to reassure her that she’s not. PS. definately an uncomfortable moment with Jodi
jodi is such a biatch always showing up at the wrong time. Hopefully Tina will let Bette say what she wants and really listen to what Bette has to say. This budding beginning with Tina is quite different than any she has had in the past. Hopefully she will not lose her cool and will be able to tell Tina just how their feelings are very different. PPS
