The story continues with Bette entering the Alanas office at the hospital.

Come in Alana stated while drying up her eyes with a tissue.

Hi Alana Bette stated.She didnt know what else to say.
She stood there looking at Alana.

Elizabeth.come in..please Alana motioned for Bette to come in and have a seat.

Bette could tell that Alana had been crying. However Alana was very welcoming towards her. All Alana wanted to do was embrace her daughter she had not seen since the girl graduated from high school. And that was from a distance.

Bette took a sit on the chair. I know this is hard ElizabethIm so sorry that I intruded in the special time for you, Tina, and the baby. I had no idea Tina was your partner until you walked into the room.

Bette just looked down at the ground she was trying not to get emotional.
Part of her wanted to hug her momafter so many years and the other half wanted to dart out the door and never see her again.

You look good Elizabethyou are so beautiful. Alana said proudly as she took a seat next to Bette. Your daughter is gorgeous too. She reminds me of you when you were born.

Well thank youI guess. Elizabeth said Look I want to apologize for my comments back in the hospital room. I guess I just have a lot of built up anger.

Alana placed her hand on her daughters and said I only can image how horrible you might think I am.I know I dont deserve to even be sitting here with you.I am just so glad to see you Elizabeth.I know you wont believe me but my heart has ached for you so long.

Bette jumped out of her chair.So why did you do it ? How could you do it? Do you know how many times I cried myself to sleep.? I just thought what is wrong with me that
Would cause my own mother to walk out of my life! Bette started to cry but she went over to the window to stare out so Alan wouldnt see her tears.
