Tina: “Will you tell me what happened at my mom’s place. You were upset when you came into the cafe.”
I looked back at Ella she is still busy with her DVD, so I started to tell Tina what her mom told me. We were about an hour’s drive from the cabin, and there was a gas station next to the road, so we stopped and we both get out to fill up the car. Tina was crying.
Bette: “I’m sorry Tina.”
We just hold each other until she stop crying.
Tina: “Let’s go and buy us some cool drink.”
Bette: “It is almost time for lunch, let’s eat and then go back to the cabin.”

It is almost 2 hours later, we are back at the cabin, but first we had to stop in town to buy some fishing gear, Tina decided that we need to catch a fish for us to braai on a camp fire. I don’t have a clue how to catch fish, but she told me not to fear when Tina is near.
I’m just happy that she is in such a play full mood, and decide to go along with this. Just after 2 we are on our little boat on the lake, busy fishing. It didn’t take long and the first fish is in the boat. We stayed on the lake until four o’clock and then it was time to clean the fish and make a fire. We shared a nice evening in front of the camp fire. Then it was time for Ella’s bath and bed time story. Finally she was asleep and we had our alone time.
We sat on the couch, drinking wine and just relaxing.
Tina: “Bette, I thought about everything that happened today, and yes maybe it is time to come in contact with my mom. Let’s just get this operation out of the way, and then I will phone her, maybe write her a letter the same I did with you. I think it may be easier.”
Bette: “Well it is your decision, I don’t want to push you into anything. But I think that it will be good. Everything is on your time Tina.”
Tina: “Thankyou Bette, I love you so much. Will you kiss me?”
I take her in my arms and we start to kiss, slow and nice. I want to take her to bed and make love to her, but I know she needs to make the first step in that direction. We kiss each other for a few minutes and then we just cuddle.
My phone rings and I see that it is Alice and decide that I don’t want to talk to her now. We decide to go to bed and lay in each other’s arms drifting off to sleep.
We enjoys the rest of the weekend, just relaxing, playing with Ella, eat and sleep. Sunday morning we go back to the city and to our house. Alice try to get in touch with me, but I just ignore her.

Wow, Alice has hit an all time new low. I have never agreed with the phrase “Oh it’s just Alice being Alice . She is always f*****g with other people’s lives, but is quick to be judgemental
when something doesn’t go her way. Hope Bette does not have to open up a can of whoop ass on her. Love this fic and please post soon.
Thanks! I knew Alice in this story was bad news! Yes, I want Bette to open a can of whip ass on Alice! That’s so fucked up what Alice did! I hate the saying also that “its just Alice being Alice”!! Thanks for the update. Alice is a super bitch and hopefully Bette will tear her a new one. She was always jealous of Bette and Tina and used her antics to get away with all sorts of stuff on the show. But to stoop so low to tell Tinas’ mother she was dead and to have sent those pictures is something that she needs to be banished for and I will bet that Dana knows nothing about what she did. If Dana knew and said nothing then she needs to be booted out with Alice. Never liked Alice on the show, always wanted someone to slap her across the mouth. Can hardly wait to see what she tells Bette about her actions and what Bette does about it. I think she needs to go. Well, rant over. Thanks for posting. HAPPY NEW YEAR to you snd yours.
