“Soldier still yourself!” Her warning came to late picking up the head she brings it to her eyes for a closer look. Completely fascinated with the miniature head in her hands she failed to notice the hissing sound had suddenly stopped.

“Calm yourself, I’m not causing harm to you or the others.”

“Clearly she was mad, “she points to the head, “All an illusion to conceal her true purpose of being a coward.”

“Put down the head that is an order!” Reluctantly she returns the head back on the table as soon as it touched the table it began spinning slowly clockwise. Both she and the other soldiers watched in horror picking up her sword she quickly backs away. Fixated on the spinning head no one seemed to notice the hissing noise had returned.

“The mad queen a title well deserved, “a soldier yells, “Remove yourselves at once!” With their sights on the main exit they quickly head for it. As they drew closer to the exit the hissing noise was now replaced with the sound similar to rainfall.

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh———, “the lead soldier screams out in agony as a liquid substance reigned down upon her. Each drop of liquid making contact with her skin left wide open gashes tearing apart her flesh.

“My eyes are on fire, “another soldier yells while dropping her sword. The soldier adjacent to her feeling the fire upon her check uses her hand in an attempt to sooth the pain, when she tore her hand away she stared down at it in horror as it was filled with her blood and flesh. One soldiers curiosity had sealed all their fates. Seeing their fellow soldiers dissolve right before their eyes the soldiers closes to the exit desperately scrambled towards it trying to escape the same fate.

“Retreat! Retreat!” Dropping their swords they raise their arms above their hands hoping to use them as a shield. Adhering to the command they continue running towards the exit the soldier in the lead just a few feet away suddenly trips over a hidden wire falling face down to the ground. The others behind her leap over her as they see safety just ahead. Just when they reached the exit they hear the same hissing sound heard once before. Immediately panicking they still themselves looking at Jennicus with both worry and fear in their eyes. In response Jennicus tilts her neck slightly smirking while shaking her head a gesture signaling their fate too had been sealed. As the second wave reigned down upon the screams were defining as they all pleaded for help. Whatever had reigned down upon them the second time was more aggressive and potent than the first. Standing in their own melted flesh, bone, and blood one by the one the screeching cries were slowly being silenced.
