    “Well …” Bette paused again. Tina smiled. “No need to be shy, honey.” She leaned forward to lay several soft kisses on Bette’s lips, and then said softly, “I know first-hand: you are such a sexy, sexy … what do they say?  Beast.” She kissed her again. “What did you do when you were away? 

    “Well …” Bette paused again.

    She kissed her again. “What did you do when you were away?  We went such a long time without …”

    “I’m only like this with you, Tina,” Bette answered, blushing slightly. “Otherwise, I’ve never been some kind of sex machi …”

    “Well, you have a ton of exes who may beg to differ, Bette,” Tina responded teasingly. “It’s clear you turned something on when you were with them.  If it’s anything close to what we have, then I’d understand why they continue to feel that way.  And I bet when they see you they’re each knocked back mentally to the time they were with you, and most likely remember how it felt like.  I saw that particular look in Gia’s face when she looked at you, while you were talking to her, or even when Marissa and I were with her, and she kept looking in your direction – during that charity event last February, in the Waldorf, remember?  She was looking at you like she wanted to eat you, baby.  And when Cheryl laid her predatory eyes on you in the US compound in Kabul, even I could see she still wanted you badly.”

    Bette just shook her head slowly from side to side, as if denying what Tina was saying. “Well, I don’t feel the same towards any of them.  I’m yours, T.  You’re the only one who’s inspired this feeling of … um… coming home, in the most profound sense of the word, when we’re together.   You know that I can’t help but respond to your touch, and … I’m sure you can feel me vibrate almost when we’re making love …”

    Tina swallowed drily, melting under the heat of her wife’s gaze.

    Bette sucked a breath when she felt Tina start to untuck her shirt and resume her butterfly kisses on her jawline and chin. She was about to respond in kind when a silent alarm went off in her head.  “What time is it, baby?”

    Tina stopped her kisses and looked at the wall clock behind Bette. “Nearly 7,” she answered as she tugged Bette’s tank top loose from its tight tuck into the brunette’s hip-hugger.

    6. WOW! is all I can say about this incredible story of intrigue and romance and mystery. Its the book I can’t put down with all that goes on page after page. I’m so loving it with all the characters and the twists and turns in the storyline. Bravo for creating such an incredible story!

    7. OK. first things first. Tina make someone investigate Peter’s medical claim. Make sure the villains have not discovered the fact that Bette’s “redhead” friend has been in two public places at the same time on different ends of New York city. And when it is time to “grab the canned peaches and head for the bomb shelter” team Tibette ensure everybody knows where the two safe havens are located. Things are getting a bit “dicey” Great writing, I love it
