“Hey, do you have any plans today?”  Shane asked Carmen after they finished their cereals.

“Not really, what have you got in mind?”  Carmen was eyeing her suspiciously.

“Well, if you don’t have any plans in trying to kill me today I thought it’s about time that I show you how a normal person lives.”  Shane replied with a smirk.

“OK… what’s the plan?”  Carmen asked raising one eyebrow.

    “You’ll see.”  Shane replied secretively.

Shane made a few phone calls and shortly afterwards they were on her bike heading to their destination.

Carmen was surprised to find them stopping at Wax.   Shane got off the bike and Carmen followed suit.

“What are we doing here?” Carmen asked.

“We are here to work.  I am a hairdresser, you know, before I met you.  And today, you are going to be my assistant.”   Shane explained.

“You are joking, aren’t you?”   Carmen’s jaw dropped.

“Well, normal people have work, they need to work to EARN money.  And today, you can’t spend any money unless you earn it.”  Shane smiled sweetly at her new assistant.

“That’s sounds so uncool.  I am walking now… ”  Carmen said as she began to turn towards the bike.

“You made a deal with me, missy.”  Shane reminded her.

Carmen stopped her tracks and looked compromised. “Fine, what do I have to do?”  She finally asked.

Shane was greeting her friends on their way to her station and introducing Carmen to everyone.  They were all wondering who Carmen was.

Shane explained to Carmen that all she had to do was to answer the phone, take the appointments, help on in the store and tidy things up after customers leave.

As the day went by, Shane was observing Carmen in how she was handling the customers and the cashier.   She seemed to have mastered the cash till shortly and was chatting to the customers a lot.  All the male customers were checking her out.  Shane felt a bit uncomfortable and asked her to help out in her area instead.
