City Of Angels Chapter 2: Dana’s Resurection

Victor laughs at how well his success has been doing. He looks out the window of his large office and glances down at the factory hard at work and manufacturing his drugs.

“Can you believe the demand of these drugs on the streets? My labs can’t even keep up with it.”

Victor laughs as he continues to look down at the factory workers like a tyrant looking over his slaves.

“Now officer, what is it that you wanted to see me about this evening?”

“It’s about our financial status.” George shifted uncomfortable in his chair as Victor turned his gaze over to the nervous crooked police officer.

“I thought we had an agreement Mr. Peterson. The payment we agreed on was not negotiable.” Victor walked over to a fancy looking cabinet and opened the doors.

“Yeah well remember that reporter and her tennis playing girlfriend last year who saw us kill that punk who wouldn’t pay you? Well after we shut them both up for good, our department is suffering some serious blow back. I think my men and I deserve a little financial compensation for our troubles that we took care of for you.”

Victor glared at the crooked police officer that was sitting at his table. He knew that one day they would ask for a larger pay cut. He just didn’t know that it would have been this soon.

“I do believe the terms were that the price was non negotiable.” Victor went back into his cabinet and was shifting through the contents inside.

“Look, my men take care of the drug traffic on the streets and look the other way when some moral ridden blues come asking questions. Not to mention help manufacturing your shit. For the price you are giving us, I’d say that’s a god damn bargain.”

“A bargain you say. What do you think Talia?” Victor emerged from the cabinet holding a miniature dagger in his hand. Talia walked around the police officer and sat in the seat next to him. With lightening speed she placed a stiletto against the crooked cop’s throat. He freezes in fear at the smooth and quick action.

“I think he should be satisfied with what he has.” The sultry assassin said in a dark and alluring voice.
