s – Thanx so much for wishing me a good flight, despite the episode with my laptop it was a great flight…. for once was sat next to someone nice! ha ha Anyway hope you’re still not running round like a headless chicken, or at least your work load has died down.

Alice and Tina had arranged to meet at the Planet for lunch as Bette would be in a meeting all day. Tina was planning something big and Alice being Alice had to be a part of it…. Tina also wanted to run her idea past Alice and make sure that it would be a success.

“Hey Tina, sorry I’m late but was uploading the chart onto the net and people just started adding to it and it just kept on growing exponetionally…. it was amazing Tina, you really should check it out some time”

Alice was talking full speed, like an elephant on a stampeed…. she was on a roll and Tina just sat back and let her friend’s ramble run it’s course. Which it eventually did and so Tina managed to steer their conversation in the right direction.

“So Al, about that plan I wanted to run past you…”

“Oh of course, sorry for rambling on…. you know how I get, especially when it comes to my chart….”

“Al, in order for me to tell you the plan I have to be able to get a word in once in a while you know” Tina said with a smile in her eyes.

Tina had really grown to love and cherish Alice as a friend, her directness reminded her so much of Tori…. in fact Alice was very much like Tori in so many ways which is probably why they got on so well.

“I’m all ears” was Al’s reply as she brought her fingers to her mouth and zipped them shut.

“Well, Bette and I have been together almost 6 months and I wanted to do something really special for Bette. She takes such good care of me and gives me so much and I guess I just want to give a little back is all.”

Al nodded her head, her intent on keeping her mouth shut until Tina had told her what she wanted to do.

“Ok, so what I was thinking was…. well how do think Bette would react to a holiday?”

“Oh she’d love it and lord knows she needs it…. What about Italy or a tropical island somewhere?”

“Uuh I was thinking of something else…. I…. well I was thinking of taking her to Zim, to my home. You see I want it to mean something, to have significance. I…. I want to ask her to move in with me, I want to let her know that she is my home and she is where I belong?”

Alice just sat there looking at the amazing woman sitting in front of her, the love she felt for Bette and the sincerity of her words radiated through her eyes. For once Alice found herself lost for words and all she could do was enfold her new found friend in a hug and whisper….

“Tina, it sounds perfect”

“You really think so, I mean I want it all to be a suprise. I don’t want her to know till we’re on our way…. do you think we could swing it? If we got the rest of the girls to help too?”

“Ooooh a project, I can’t wait. Of course we can pull it off, I’m not just a pretty face ya know” Al said with a huge grin on her face as she was fumbling around trying to find her cell. She was on a mission and wanted, needed to get Shane and Dana to the Planet ASAP!!
