“Great so we seem to be on track…. James has cleared Bette’s shedule for the whole of December so she’s all yours. Is there anything else we gotta do?”

“Well, there is one thing” Tina said with a cheshire cat grin on her face

“You all need to take a weeks holiday before Christmas, starting on the 13th of December”

The three women looked at each other with confusion written all over their faces as Tina reache in her bag and pulled out three envelopes and gave one to each of them

“Because you are coming to join us for a week!!” Tina said, barely able to keep her excitement under control

Al and Dana shrieked with excitement, Al jumping into Tina’s lap and Dana engulfing them in a hug. Even Shane wasn’t impervious to the excitement as she too jumped up and joined the group hug

“Oh my god Tina are you sure…. I mean wow!” Alice said, seeming almost lost for words

“Well you guys are our family and I want you to be there. We’re going to spend a week on a house boat just eating, drinking and relaxing. You guys up for it?”

“Of course we are, aren’t we guys?” Al said as she looked around at Shane and Dana. Both just nodded and smiled, not trusting themselves to speak.

Shane couldn’t get over how cute Tina was, she always considered others and went out of her way to help people and to put them at ease. She was perfect for Bette and she considered herself lucky to be able to call both women friends…. although she would never admit it.

Tina’s apartment that evening-

Tina had just finished the final touches to her makeup when she heard a knock at the door. She paractically flew to the door and flung her arms around the woman on the other side, pulling her in to the apartment.

“Wow Tina, you’re looking amazing…. you’re practically glowing. You really are in love aren’t you?” Tori said smiling as she again pulled Tina in for a hug

“God, I still can’t believe you’re here and yes, I am head over heels. You’re gonna meet her tonight, she’ll be here in about an hour”
