“Wow sweetie, you look amazing”

“You look HOT” Bette exclaimed which earned her a playful slap on the arm from Tina

“Well… I just meant… well that you look good” Bette said a little flustered

Tina and Tori just looked at each other and burst out laughing. Tina was used to the effect Tori had on people when she was out to make an impression and couldn’t help but laugh at the usually cool and collected Bette Porter being flustered.

“Well I do try” Tori said smiling

“Well it pays off” Bette said, a little more relaxed

“Thanx B… now are we ready to motor girls?”

Bette was glad that Tori was so easy going and was obviously relaxed around her…. she kinda liked the idea of being called B. Without another word Bette opened the door and held it open for the girls who grabbed their handbags and headed to the car.

Shane was leaning on the bar, not really feeling up to the barrage of questions she knew Al would throw her way. Shane had unconciously made more of an effort with her appearance tonight and was a little nervous…. so unlike her and so strage that she didn’t really know what to do with herself. She couldn’t wait to see Tori, there was something about her that drew Shane to her. She couldn’t put her finger on it, she didn’t know if it was the accent, the body or the fact that she just seemed to much like Tina. Shane love the natural grace of Tina and the unaffected way she treated everybody, she felt that it was so rare to find someone like that and she somehow knew that Tori was the same. Despite Shane’s easy going and carefree lifestyle, deep down she was searching for her soul mate just like the next person and maybe, just maybe she had found what her heart has been searching for and the yearning in her soul could be silenced. It was just as this thought was going through her mind that she saw the three women walking through the door and for the second time that day, her jaw dropped and she found herself speechless.
