    Doctor’s office

    Chapter 6

     

    Tina walked slowly beside Bette, as she walked towards the doctor’s office. Tina could tell that Bette was in some pain from her knee. But she wasn’t admitting it. She was learning more on her cane that she did normally. Tina had noticed that she does this when she is tired. Today was also a cold day which wasn’t helping. She knew Bette had hardly slept the night before, knowing that they were going to the doctors. Tina had held her all night, wanting her to feel so safe. Now Bette had stopped. She looked at Tina before looking at the door of the doctor’s office. Tina looked at the woman she was falling so hard for. Bette suddenly reached out for Tina’s hand. Tina took it without a moment hesitation. Bette needed the comfort of someone.

                “This is going to be okay.” Tina said,

                “I’m so scared.” Bette admitted looking at Tina. she had been sick again this morning.

                “I’m here with you and for you!” Tina said, Bette smiled.

                “Let’s do it.” Bette said finding some strength from somewhere. They walked into the office and made their way to the lady on the desk.

                “Hello how may I help you?” The lady said looking up at the two women in front of her

                “Erm. My name is Bette Porter, I’ve got an appointment with Dr Harrison.”

                “Okay one moment please.” She said checking the computer as she did, Tina felt Bette’s hand holding onto her tighter.

                “Yeh she will see you shortly.” Bette moved to take a seat. She felt so sick to the stomach. she was so worried. When she had told Tina she was late. Tina had held her closer. She was so scared. As her name was read out. She slowly pushed herself up. Using her cane and a little help from Tina. the cold had really got to her. They slowly walked into the doctor’s office. Bette sat down with Tina sat beside her. She was shaking. As she explained to Dr Harrison that she was late. She then gave a blood and urine sample. Bette was shaking as they waited for the results. Tina slowly rubbed her hand. Dr Harrison walked back in with her file and  looked at Bette.

    3. This baby will inherit half of its genes from that POS. Isn’t she better off not worrying and wondering about the baby’s outcome by terminating her pregnancy?

    7. ok well this is just crappy for Bette. personally i think she’s been through enough drama and should end this pregnancy while she can. Or if she can’t bring herself to do that she can stay w/ tina until the baby is born, put it up for adoption and then maye her and Tina can head back to LA to start a new life together and away from the horrible memories of what Bryin did to her. Post soon..i’m on pins and needles over here!

    8. damn poor Bette, this is a hard one, I understand the baby is innocent in all this but I think she should have an abortion.. half of the baby is bryon and his genes are fucked up no matter how the child is brought up some ppl are just messed up and cant help what they do no matter what kind of childhood they have.. so I know its hard but I dont think she should keep it..but its ur story and its a great one at that so w.e u decide I will be enjoying reading it … thx ladies love it. sry for rambling lol

    10. Ok so Bette is pregnant. She needs to go to best lawyer there is to keep Byron away from not only her but this child if she keeps it. He is a rapist and therefore a danger to Bette and any child especially if it is a girl. He would probably try to take the child out of spite anyway.

    12. This has been an emotional journey for me to read this story. Your brilliant writing have brought Bette and Tina to life. Merry Christmas to both of you and may there be many more stories.

    14. Now I get the part about not wanting to kill an innocent life – but at week nine, we´re not really talking about a conscious life and no matter what, the baby will always be a constant reminder, not only for Bette – but the day will come when he or she will want to know more about the “donor” – what will Bette´s answer be. I really think keeping this baby is a bad idea.
