Collision Course 4.30
Getting up off the chair, Alice cocked her head to the left, “You’re back….”
“For good this time, I bought The Planet, it’s my place, and I’m not going anywhere, ever again,” replied Lara. “Hello Alice….”
“Hello?” said Alice softly, the room moving around in their chairs rather uncomfortably. Jo kept on watching Sam, who was studying her fingernails rather intently. Carmen looked around the room, thinking that there must be some voodoo doll drawing drama to their circle of women. Shane watched Sam, along with Jo, but for reasons other than wondering why Sam looked like she was a guilty kid, with her hand in the cookie jar. Bette sat quietly, her guilt slowly bubbling to the surface, bursting at the seams to tell Jo what had happened.
Lara smiled shyly, “I know this is a surprise,” began the stunning redhead, wearing her white chef’s coat. “But…” said Lara, cutting off the onslaught that she knew was coming from Alice, “…when Kit called me with the offer to buy The Planet, I called my cousin, Jayden.”
“Cousin?” said Helena, giving Jayden a sideway glance. Another new development about Jayden. Helena was quickly learning that Jayden had many hidden attributes, and not all of them lay in bed.
“Yeah, our mother’s were sisters,” said Jayden quietly, a demure smile from the tall sexy woman. Looking up Lara with a knowing smile, because when Lara wanted something, Lara usually got what she wanted, and right now, Lara wanted Alice.
With each word, Lara began walking closer to Alice, “Jayden told me to call CJ’s wife and I did, Sam helped me finance the buying of The Planet.”
Alice shot Sam a cold look, but Sam didn’t see it, she was on her cell phone, text messaging someone, then Lara continued, “I loved working in New York, but I missed LA, and I missed you. But telling you that over the phone wasn’t going to work, and flying back and forth across the country isn’t the way to build something, Alice. You deserved better than a phone call in the middle of the night. I needed time to clear my head of everything, and I have. So, here I am, starting fresh.”

Well now. Glad Jo forgave Bette… Tina and Sam… No. Please, no. Sam’n Shane, yes, please! Hotness. But what is Al gonna do about Ro? She can’t have her cake and eat it too.
Oh and before I forget, what’s this about Helena knowing about Jayden’s attributes in bed? Did I miss something?

Just teasing, Glad that Jo wasnt to angry with Bette. Dont let Sam and Tina get together Sam deserves more. Let it be Shane. The are great together and she keeps Shane on her toes. As for Ro and Alice,rather see Ro and Tina together than Alice. love this thanks bvh
Why does Tina wait until Bette is with someone to make a move or tell her how she feels. Why not take the time BEFORE she meets someone to try to work thinks out with Bette…And Bette is a good one cause I couldn’t date a vampire or warewolf or whatever she is…that would scare the hell out of me…especially if they can visualize and tell if your lying to them and the fact that they have fangs…you wouldn’t want to piss them off. I think Sam & Shane is a good combination…not Sam & Tina. I thought Tina was attracted to men…she just dosen’t know what she wants huh?
Two updates, I’m officially spoiled, Thanx. Kinda wondering if there is any meaning behind Jo thinking that Bette had something else to say to her. Their honesty policy is so beneficial to their relationship. So love how Jo makes Bette want to loosen up. Sam actually left Shane speachless & unable to…ahem…perform. Luv her.
Ha, after well 4 hours reading, I’m up to date and that was great. Never expected Lara come back. And I can’t wait to read how it’s gonna evolve between Al/Lara/Ro, I’m waiting for it. I’m thinking you have a few thing in your sleeve for Shane/Sam/Tina can’t wait to see how it turn out, I remember the Gathering, lol. I really like Bette with Jo, never expected to ever loved Bette with someone ,lol. AS for me taking that long to read, it’s just that I’m keeping the reading of your story for the sunday and was unable to do so a few weeks back. And see after one week you came up with 3 chapter, around 50 pges to read, but I have to admit it’s all my plesure to have that much to read ~wink~
On fire!!! ~Me thinks you need a drooler disclaimer for accidental damage caused to expensive hardware from uncontrollable bodily fluids…ahem…~ HOT! Shane and Sam are smoking in this chapter. I’m loving Bette and Jo and that bike…oh gosh! Love the drama and the tension wound up together, I couldn’t stopping grinning and then I get hit with Shane and Sam, slamming each other up against a metal door *weg*. Tina too was getting her groove on…nice. Alice and Lara, well…I’ll see what you come up with. I like Al and Ro, but you’re devilish like that so I’m waiting to see what happens. Awesome…pps! On to read the chapter again!
