Collision Course 4.90 – Let Me
Five weeks later…
“No, no, I’m not changing a diaper,” said Brian, holding his hands up in front of himself, waving the baby away. “It smells from here, no, no, go put it away.”
“It’s not a toy, Brian, you can’t simply put it away,” laughed Justin as he playfully walked around the house, slowly chasing Brian with the baby and a smelly diaper. A radiant smile plastered on Justin’s handsome face, watching as Brian scurried away from Justin. At one point, Brian contemplated grabbing the vase on the table and brandishing it as a weapon, why did baby’s shit stink so much, thought Brian.
“Listen, I’ll teach him how to piss in the toilet when the time come for that, but until them, I am staying as far away from the stench as possible, cross my queer heart,” said Brian, pinching his nose.
“Bri, dude, if I can get used to it, you can,” said Shane in her deep smoky voice, filled with loving and laughter. “We’re leaving for a weekend, you’re gonna have to help Justin.”
“That’s what Sonya is for,” said Brian, referring to the nanny. They’d hired Sonya for a variety of reasons, one of them being that she was willing to move to Pittsburg. She was straight, spoke six different languages and had been a private nanny for over ten years. At least Shane knew that Sam’s kids were in good hands while she was away.
“Brian, you are such a coward,” said Justin, moving to the changing table and cooing at Samuel. “Yes, Brian is a coward, can’t change a poopy diaper.”
“Shhhh, Dana is sleeping,” said Lara, looking tired but grinning rather brightly. Their life seemed to have been riding on a fast rail to somewhere filled with babies, fun and adventure, Lara was loving every single minute of it.
Shane moved to her, kissing her with silken lips. Lara let a soft moan escape her lips, it had been weeks since they’d had sex and Lara was aching for Shane’s sweet and talented touch to send shivers up her spine. Hopefully they would have time at the resort to indulge in some private, and naked, time together.

Yippee!!!!! The last few chapters have been, uh, quite frankly, happy. Not a twist in sight. I kept steeling myself for the roller coaster. Then I decided that an ending with no twists was the most twisted of all. What an accomplishment–my expectations were making me suspicious, looking for the set-up, the hint of what was to come. Darn. I was hunting for the foreboding. BUT THERE WAS NONE. And now, here it comes. Wheeeee! All expectations to be checked at the door! Can’t wait to see what happens. But, uh, if you kill Angie, I will hunt you down and break your typing fingers. So, killing Angie is not an option, OK? Promise? I mean, not even the JadedRogue could be THAT twisted. Right? I mean… Arghh. NOW I’m worried. My tummy hurts. :)
Ness has been playing Trauma Center – New Blood. You have to operate on a patient, monitor their vitals. I killed every patient, before putting the controller on the sofa and telling her how much I hated that game. LOL! It’s one thing to remember the “order” of what you have to do, but when the patient starts bleeding again!! I was able to suction the blood from the knife wounds, get the stitching ready, while the damn monitors are beeping, and the tweezers weren’t lifting the medicine to prevent infection! Then the blood started to come back! EEEK! I couldn’t handle it! Ness loves the pressure and really does quite well. Now, about this story. I will say I would TOTALLY be like Brian with the dirty diapers and such. I love that Justin was able to step up to the plate and let Brian know that he has a duty as well, and it isn’t going to be just teaching Sam how to pee! LOL. As for Jenny and the Lez Girls book YUCK !!! That is one character I refuse to write about unless I can kill her off in it. LOL!!!! Shaney…well just keep making those girls happy girl. Ya know, I’m thinking that Lenore and Peggy could just be a lead a story all on their own. Probably a comedy!!!! What do you think? Thanks for the lengthy chapter. It was a joy to read.
OMG, I saw the copyright notice, and was like, “nah, La Jaded’s got nowt to do with this, surely!” See, you’ve lulled me into this sense of happy complacency, thinking everything is acecakes, but I should have heard The Rogue One clearing her throat, getting ready to let loose the banshee’s wail. This is what I get for always looking for that rainbow. Heck, next time I’ll just buy a pack of Skittles… GAH! (I’m just gonna go ask my Magic 8 Ball if everything’s gonna be okay…. HA!!! The Magic 8 Ball said “Absolutely”… take THAT, Jaded! (Please?)) Right. Panic over. Rainbows intact. Bette Porter being on Venus Island is only a sense of pulse-defying angst to Spencer, cos she has an illicit, but harmless, crush on the soon-to-be Dean Kenter, right? Right!! Glad I cleared up that misunderstanding. (And can’t Shane just like, buy Kinnetic and move the whole operation to LA? But I guess that’d be a bit *too* controlling of a use of the Vance fortune, money doesn’t buy everything, so the ‘Burgh’ll just have to welcome the Mrs. McCutcheons) Anyway, I’m rambly and tired and still worried about what Spencer’s… thing… at the end of this chapter meant, so I shall say thanks for another chapter, and really, post soon. It’s always good when Shane’s libedo is in full force :) the whole bit with the dirty diapers was priceless and Lenore…chap was packed full of goodness!
How many times to I need to post to get on this one chapter to get a NC-17? Mega times or just one. Does Bette still have that much power over Jo,the love they had together was a sight t behold. Will Tina ever be able to compare to Jo? The weather here is great freezing at night and in the 50 during the day. Got huge piles of leaves. Hope everything goes your way in 08. Thanks bvh
What is in the works for the last two chappies, is there going to be the mother of all cliffhangers or is everything going to be wrapped up nicely bows and all. I have a feeling that someone aint going to get married. We are down to the wire two more left and then no no JanetM, you are going to be missed. Looking forward to what you have in store.

Who hope upon hope that their talent can survive the leap from writing about known characters to something that is completely and utterly their own. And, out of all of us who fit that description you are right there at the top of who I believe will succeed. I have no doubt that one day I will be reading your book, or watching your movie. You already have so much talent, but JM, take the class since it is being offered and soak up all you can!!! Just know, you can come here and “practice” your writing any time and you will be met with open arms…especially by me…one of those many writer wannabes. ;)
Hey! great Chapter as usual. Pity only two more left. Makes me wanna start crying now. As for any NC-17 in the next chapter, yes please! lol. wouldn’t go amiss. As for you auditing a class, that’d be awesome, congrats for the chance at it hun. I’d say go for it if you really want it. And if you have time for more stories for us readers, all the better, and if not, we can wait, sure it may be torturous for a while, but we can always go back and re-read everything haha. So best of luck to you hun, and continue with your writing, whether in class, on here, or wherever. You’re an excellent writer.
What are your reservations in taking the class?? You are such a talented writer, there should be no question. As for Venus Island…. what kind of shitstorm are you planning, Janet?? I hesitantly click each page as I fear what Rogueish mayhem may appear. By the way, you can’t see me, but imagine that I am on bended knee begging for the sex scene…. you know you want to write it… please… pretty please!
