Everybody sat out as Mark went in with Christina in the delivery room. Tina was leaning against the wall and looked up at Bette and Helena. Helena had her head rested on Bettes shoulder, and Bette was holding her hand. Tina sighed and started to walk away.

I need some fresh air.  Shane stood up.

Ill come with you. Tina walked out the door with Shane right behind her. Shane grabbed her pack of cigarettes out of her pocket and pulled one out. She put the stick to her mouth and lit it. Tina took a deep breath and raked her fingers through her hair. Shane took a drag of her cigarette and looked at her friend. Tee, whats wrong?

Nothing, Im just fine. Shane stared at her friend. Alright, I have a lot of things running through my mind right now. Garrett told me that he loved me tonight and this whole thing with Bette and Helena. I dont know what to think of it. She looks so happy like she did with me. Ive lost my best friend. Tina took a seat on the bench and dropped her head in her hands. Shane sighed and walked over to her friend. She sat next to her and put her hand on her back. I mean Im happy for her, but well never be the same.

You guys are my friends, and I cant choose sides. I used to look up to you guys, and I just love seeing you guys together. I thought you guys would be together forever, but things changed. I dont know, but maybe it was for the best. I know that you still love Bette, Tina, but look at how happy she is. I mean I have to admit, this is the happiest Ive seen her in a while. You guys need to have your space and try to talk it out. For your sake and lil Destinys sake. Tina nodded.

. I guess Ill have to get use to seeing Helena in Bettes life. Tina leaned over and laid her head on Shanes shoulder Thanks Shane. Shane wrapped her arm around Tina and squeezed her tight.

No problem, she kissed the top of Tinas head. Shane finished up her cigarette and put it out. Im going back in, are you coming?
