Bette got off the couch and stretched. She got up and walked into the kitchen and saw Kit sitting at the table. She grabbed herself a cup and pours herself some coffee. She took a seat at the table and took a drink.

“Morning.”  Kit looked up from the newspaper.

“Morning. I need to get myself back to work.”

“Bette, you need to go back home to your wife and child. You’ve been here for too long. I need my space girl.” Bette slanted her eyes at Kit.

“I’m sorry Kit. I just can’t get over the fact that Tina would do something like this to me. Why would she let that monster watch my daughter?”

“Well baby girl, if you weren’t out there messing around with other females, Tina wouldn’t have went out and met Helena.” Bette shot her eyes at her. “What? It’s the truth. Just give her a call.”

“It’s not that easy Kit. I can’t go back to her and forgive her. I need time to think, and I need to know if it’s the right choice or not.”

“Baby sis, just go home and talk to her. That was really dumb of you just to walk out without working it out.” She grabbed Bette’s hand. “It’s been a month now, go home and stop making Tina’s life miserable. You need to be happy and have that happy family.” Bette smiled and dropped her head.

“Thanks Kit.” She got up from her chair and gave her sister a hug. “I’ll call you.” She walked into the living room and grabbed her bags. She put on her shoes and headed out of the door.

            Alice stood in front of the mirror in the bridal shop. She spun around and admired herself in the mirror. The lady walked up to her and stood there.

“What do you think?”

“I love it. I think I’ll get it. Shane! Dana! C’mere for a sec.” The two girls came around the corner and stared at the friend.

“You look gorgeous.” Dana smiled and looked at Shane.

“You look great.”

“Thanks you guys. I can’t believe that the wedding is a couple of weeks away. I’m so ready for this.” She stepped down from the little stage. “So did you guys like your dresses?”
