“I know, I know. But I needed to find the right timing.”

            Tina and Garrett walked into the building and saw the girls. The girls looked up and smiled.

“Hey,” Shane smiled. “Glad you could make it.”

Tina smiled. “I could have been here earlier, but I was waiting for him.” Everybody looked at Garrett. “Guys, this is Garrett.” The girls said hi and waved. He said hi and smiled. Alice looked at her friend and stood up. She walked over to Tina and grabbed her arm.

“Can I talk to you please?”

“Sure, I’ll be right back Garrett.” He nodded his head as Alice dragged Tina off. They walked a few feet away. Alice stopped and let go of Tina’s arm. “What’s wrong Al?”

“What the fuck is going on? Am I missing something here?”

“What are you talking about?”

Alice crossed her arms. “I’m saying are you and Bette done or what?”

Tina sighed and pushed her hair out of her face. “Yes Al, sad but true. We are not together anymore.”

“What happened?”

“We were falling out of love with each other. We both agreed that our relationship was over. So we’re going our separate ways.”

“What about Destiny?”

“She’ll still have us. We’re still friends, and we’re still going to be there for our little girl.”

Alice dropped her head and sighed. “I can’t believe this is really happening. Our favorite couple is over.” Tina walked over to her friend and slung her arm over her shoulder.

“I know it’s a sad moment, but we’ll still be around. We’re still friends.”

Alice nodded her head. “Do you know who she’s with?”

“No, she didn’t tell me, but it’s someone I know.”

Alice looked at her friend. “You’re telling me that Bette didn’t tell you.”

“Tell me what?” Alice smiled and grabbed Tina’s hand. “Tell me what Al?” Alice didn’t answer her and walked back over to the girls.

“Hey, listen up. We have some terrible news.”

Tina looked at Alice. “What are you doing?”

Alice turned to Tina. “This needs to be done.” She turned back to everybody. “Tina has something to say.”
