Continuing to walk, and seeing more and more couples on the boardwalk, holding hands, some kissing, others sitting and talking. Seeing this didn’t help with all the feelings running through Dana’s bones. She wanted to hold Lara’s hands but being in the closet about her sexuality; she just looked ahead and continues to walk with Lara.

Lara: You started to tell me about buying a house. So tell me what happened.
Dana: (smiling) Uh, I was in my old car driving to a celebrate match in Long Beach. While driving down Ohio Blvd, I saw this great big house. I couldn’t believe it but it had a for sale sign on it. I had to stop and check it out.
Lara: Weren’t you going to be late for your match.
Dana: No, I was extremely early. I get nervous some times, so I go early, walk around and try to relax.
Lana: Okay, so go on.
Dana: So I pulled over and called my agent. Of course he wanted to know what I was doing looking at home on the day of my match. But I explained it to him and asked if he could set it up, so I could see the place. Two days later, I went to see this house. It was right next to the beach; it was way up in the hills so I didn’t have to worry about floods or anything. When I walked into this house, I knew I was in love. First of all, the driveway was amazing. Then they had these great steps as you walk into the house. When I got upstairs, off to the side was another set of stairs leading to another level. On the first level was the kitchen, has you arrived upstairs. A kitchen you would fall in love with. It’s Large and it has everything in it, great big cabinets, for the dishes and the glasses and the mug, everything. Which is next to what I think is a really nice living room where you could see out to the beach. In the evenings, you can see the prettiest sunsets.
