Dare to Dream – A Tibette Beginning – Ch 22
A Tibette Beginning
Chapter 22
Previously…
The drive home was silent, with the exception of Tina’s sobs. Bette held Tina’s hand during the entire ride, a silent reminder of her unwaivering support and devotion. Bette pulled into Tina’s driveway and quickly made her way to Tina’s side of the car to help her in the house. They made there way into the house. Tina barely able to support her own weight. They made there way to the couch and sat side by side.
“T… I am here for you… whatever you need. If you want to be alone I will underst…”
“No… please stay… I need…you to hold me” Tina asked in between sobs.
“I would like nothing more sweetie” Bette replied as she took Tina in her arms. They laid on the couch wrapped in each other’s arms and stayed there for hours. There were no words spoken as Tina sobbed until she eventually cried herself to sleep in Bette’s arms.
The evening faded into night, and neither woman moved until the early morning hours when Tina started to stir. She opened her eyes to find herself still tightly wrapped in Bette’s arms. She tried to shake the fog from her pounding head, and the earlier events of the day started to become clearer. Bette felt Tina stir and couldn’t help but smile as she opened her eyes, but that smile quickly faded as the look on Tina’s face brought the harsh reality of the day back to the forefront. Bette could see and feel the battle going on in Tina’s head.
“Hey you” Bette said as she pushed a lock of Tina’s golden hair from her face.
“Hi” Tina gave a distant reply.
“T..”
“Bette I think we need to talk” Tina cut her off as she got up and headed into the kitchen to get something for her head and put on a pot of coffee. Tina’s words sent terror through Bette.
‘This can’t be it… it can’t be over before we even get a chance to start’ Bette thought to herself as a tear rolled down her cheek. She got up and made her way into the kitchen scared of what she may be facing.

It’s a joy to read the story, even if it is sad sometimes.I hope Bette and Tina can come through it together. PPS

Good to see there are some good news and B&T are ok!
I’m glad the whole possible pregnancy thing is finally in the open. It’s great to see Tina so supportive. Just like Bette’s dream. This is a great story. Thanks for posting.
They do have a lot to deal with this early in a new relationship but together than can handle anything that comes their way. Their love is new but it is strong. PPS
So in love so cute. I enjoy this one. Let get a test and hopefully Hailey is fine…
glad everything is out in the open.pps
Whew, you had me scared there for a bit. I am so glad these two are talking and being honest. That’s how hurdles are cleared and not stumbled over. Thanks for the great bedtime read. ;-)
well, as I recall, it was Dana who breached patient-doctor confidentiality and masterminded the don’t tell/get Kit plan; Bette simply went along with the doctor & supplied her sister to help SO imo Tina needs to talk to her good friend Dana about honesty in their professional relationship. However great chapter. PPS.
Wow 513, this story is amazing, I just read the whole thing (sorry about cheating) and can’t wait for the next post. At first I thought they were moving way to fast but then you put the breaks on, If nothing else I think this site and the stories here taught me to not be so impaulsive. It was heart breaking to learn of the little girls illness and I know from experience that no amount of red meat or dark greens will ever cure leukemia, so that comment about being a case for the record books was right on. Therefore I will look forward to the next chapter with hope for Hailey and maybe a relaxing day for the new family. Thank you, Md
