“How are you feeling? This morning was a rough one.”
“I’m better now that you are here!” They set off into the building hand in hand.
They were quickly ushered into a room, and Bette changed into her paper gown. No more than she got sat down on the table and there was a knock on the door and Dr Wilson poked her head in. She was instantly shocked by Tina’s presence in the room. Dr. Wilson and Bette spoke at length prior to her starting trying to get pregnant. There had been no question that Dr. Wilson was concerned by Bette’s plan.
“Well well Ms. Porter who do we have here?”
“Dr. Wilson this is my partner Tina Kennard.” Dr. Wilson gave a genuine smile. She was well aware of what Bette had been through as she was her doctor when she had Colin as well. She had always had a fondness for the brunette and had tried to take her under her wing when Colin was a baby.
“It’s very nice to meet you Tina” she said as she reached out to shake her hand. “I trust we will be seeing quite a bit of each other over the next year or so.”
“Yes we will! Rest assured if I am not here something will be very wrong!” Tina said leaving no question of her intentions.
“Well Bette are you ready? I will start with an exam and then we will do some labs.”
Bette reached her hand out to Tina wanting her by her side, “We’re more than ready!” she said as she laid back on the table and Tina took her side.
“All done” Dr. Wilson said. “We will need a blood test and urine test, and I will call you with the results in a few days. How have you been feeling Bette? Have you had any morning sickness this time?
“Urgh.. have I ever. It has become our morning ritual, but Tina has been taking good care of me, and the Preggie Pops seem to be helping.”
“Good.. keep it up, I will give you a script for some pills to take if you need them as well as some prenatal vitamins. Take the morning sickness pills as you need them, but I want you on the vitamins daily.”

Love how they are so there for each other. But they need to relax just a bit.
I don’t understand the source of the trepidations Tina is feeling. Suppose it is just because everything is so new for them and she had to be alone with her children and she understands the feeling and just doesn’t want Bette to experience that feeling. Hopefully that’s all it is about. Great chapter. PPS or Post when you can.

Ok you’re a hopeless romantic, but I like it. I totally agree with you about the ex thing it should only bring them much closer together. This was such a sweet chapter With Tina so nervous about maybe missing the appt. and thinking Bette would feel she had abandoned her I can tell these girls are so deeply in love and will continue to love and cherish each other come hell or high water. As for the NC_17 don’t give it another thought,the girls will let you know when they are ready for it just let them lead you. Wherever this journey is taking us I will be there for all of it. Keep up the great work PPS.

Awww, that paper night gown. Why do they make those things anyway? I am so glad that Tina feels as strongly as she does. Bette is a lucky woman to have found someone who not only loves her and Colin but is willing to stand with her while she has this new baby.
tina was so sweet to be there for bette… if tina is on emotional overload now, what will happen when be gets ready to deliver? okay lets get bette’s house all situated and get them living together! :)PPS

Hey TB513, I am just caught up with your wonderful writing. I am just loving the adoration between Bette and Tina. The world is a happier place when these gals are together. I love how their relationship has blossomed so quickly and the children and their friends and family realized that all was well and correct once they were in each other’s arms. This latest chapter showed just how much their time together is worth. Tina needed to be with Bette as much as Bette needed her there. Just awesome. I loved it. Many thanks. A Fan
