“Alright.”
“Hey I think we can still get a pizza order in… are you guys getting hungry?”
“Yeah I’m starved.”
“Me to” Kit added. Shane pulled her phone out and ordered them some pizzas.
“They will be here in 30”
“Great.. come with me let’s get to work on this bedroom.” Kate asked.
Shane and Kate headed into Bette and Tina’s bedroom.
“K so talk to me”
“What?”
“Come on Shane, I’ve know you for a lot of years, I know all of this has got your head going a million miles an hour.”
“This has to stop Kate… they don’t deserve this shit”
“No they don’t… but Shane….”
“Look I know they don’t need me doing anything stupid either.”
“No they don’t.”
“It just makes me mad ya know… they finally found happiness.. they have both been through so much shit.”
“Yeah I know… but this woman is obviously crazy. There is no telling what will make it worse.”
“I know.. you are right… Hey was that a phone ringing?”
“I think it was.” They both run out of the bedroom to find Kit.
“Thank you for letting me know officer…. yes.. yes, I will make sure that they get to the courthouse as soon as Bette is out of the hospital… Officer, do you know when she will get out?… OH.. Really..Thank you again.”
“What happened?”
“Did they get her?”
“Oh did they ever…” Kit said with a growing smile across her face.
“What? What happened?” Shane asked again.
“Well let’s just say that Ms. Lerner won’t be a problem for any of us for a while.”
“Aw.. come on tell us what happened.” Shane was at the point of pleading.
“Well apparently that bitch’s family tree don’t branch… cause when the police went to pick her up she fuckin’ flipped. She broke one officers nose, busted a couple of ribs on another one, and just in case that wasn’t enough to put her away… she admitted to everything. They have her on two counts of assaulting an officer, assault for hitting Bette, breaking and entering, criminal vandalism, and since she managed to really piss them off they are going to slap her with a hate crime to.”
“Holy Shit!” Shane said as Kate stood there with her mouth wide open.
“We have to call them and let them know.”
“No way Kate… We gotta go tell them.”

Finally, “sigh” I thought this day will never come, she deserves more than that really. That was a great chapter and Shane is such a good friend and a big money spender, all what I was thinking while reading this chapter was who’s going to pay for all of that? Finally the witch is no longer a threat to Bette, Tina and the kids. Now if the dude causes trouble they can deal with him and not worry that the witch is still around.

Great chapter! Glad that Jodie got what she deserved. I totally forgot Tina’s ex is in the mix too – he does not know what he is getting himself into. I was glad to see how all their friends came together to put the house back together – they rock! Can’t wait for the next chapter – PPS !
