“Her last name is Kennard, that is hardly enough to find someone in LA…” Bette paused unsure if she should tell her sister what else she knows.

“What else… I know there is more you are thinking too hard” Bette was taken back a bit by her sisters interrogation. “Come on spill it” Kit demanded.

“Well she has another appointment with the doctor next Monday, but that is hardly an appropriate place to approach her.”

“So we have a week to find her and an ‘appropriate’ place” Kit replied with a hint of sarcasm in her voice. Bette shot Kit a look. “Oh don’t you worry I will find a way. I have been listening to you for months talk about this woman who has taken up residency in your head… I will find her if for no other reason than to tell her to get the hell out of your head so we can go back to our sane lives!” Kits response was laced with laughter and a hint of seriousness.

Kate waited impatiently for Tina and the girls to return. She jumped up when she finally heard car doors and met them at the door.

“Ok so what did the doctor say?” Kate questioned.

“Girls why don’t you go play in your room… puzzles or coloring something quiet Ok”

“Ok Mama” Hailey replied

“I’ll take care of Sissy Mama don’t worry.” Skyler said trying to comfort her mother. Tina smiled once again amazed by her daughter. Tina turned to Kate “We don’t really know anything yet. Dane ordered some blood work because she things she might be anemic. We have to go back Monday. “

“Do they know what may be causing it?”

“No not yet they don’t even know if that’s it for sure, but in the mean time I need to watch how much she eats and try to get more red meat in her.”

“Wow Tina I hope everything ends up being Ok. You know I will do whatever I can to help.”

“I know” Tina said trying to choke back the tears as she hugged her best friend.

“Tina I’m going to get out of here, if you need anything at all just call me Ok”

“I will.. thanks again Kate”

“I’ll see you tomorrow.”

“Bye”

Tina headed into the kitchen to fix dinner wondering how she would get the extra red meat in her daughter. As she fixed dinner her mind wandered to the brunette she saw in the waiting room. It was really nothing more than a passing glance but somehow the brunette had invaded her thoughts. Tina found herself drawn to her and didn’t know why.
