“You are dismissed Royal Commander.” The edge however was no longer present in her voice.
“May I speak with you as Rau of Rhemus?” Christina did not respond so Rau took the silence to be her assent. “I have been the Commander of the Royal Guard of Romulus and Rhemus for the past twenty years. I rose to command early in my career.
I have always had charge of guarding Royal personage. I have never met a Royal with more integrity than Queen Rhaina. Royalty of the smallest order I have found to be quite petty in their concerns and disrespectful of beings of any other class than their own.
Queen Rhaina is in a class all of her own. She pays attention to the smallest of details. She respects the opinion of every she encounters. She looks to serve those she is sovereign over. I am amazed by her person.
She is beautiful and sexy and she moves me like no woman ever has. When she looks at me my insides melt. I am a tried and true veteran of the service. I am not easily impressed yet she inspires me just by entering the room.
I am not good enough for her I know. I am not of Royal birth. I offered to renounce my Romulan citizenship so that we could explore what is between us and she refused. She offered her Crown. Rhemus and Romulus needs her. We could not have a finer Queen and I am not so selfish that I could take her from the many who need her though I need her so much…it makes me crazy. I long to mate with her…”
Rau stopped as she realized that Christina was watching her closely and this was not the kind of talk that a daughter wished to hear about her mother from another even her sire and husband. “I beg your pardon, Princess. I forgot myself.”
“You are excused for the sincere passion that I hear you hold for my mother.” Christina told her with a measure of respect. She could not deny that the woman was truly enamored of her mother despite her discomfort. She did not see her mother as a woman in her own right and that gave her true pause.
The door to the apartments opened and even before she saw her she knew it was Elizabeth. Elizabeth met her eyes and slipped easily into their meld. Elizabeth’s surprise at finding Christina aroused and then discovering Rau the focus of that feeling turned to sudden anger. Elizabeth was halfway across the room and her murderous intention communicated so clearly Rau stepped back.
“It is what Rau feels for my mother Elizabeth. Surely you know that I only burn for you.”
Elizabeth froze in midstride the words registering as her hand gripped the hilt of the ceremonial sword with the very real blade on her hip. Christina yearned for another and all she saw was red.
“Elizabeth!” Christina called to her. Elizabeth was not sure if the call was verbal or in the meld but it compelled her to turn to her wife. The shock in the hazel eyes returned her to herself. “I only burn for you.”
The reality of that statement sunk in as did the unwavering hazel gaze that burned with love for only her. “Christina?” The ebony eyes cleared.

WOW Kelika, what a shock for both Elizabeth and Christina to have to acknowledge their parents as individuals…with sexual desires for someone other than their legal mates. It’s almost too much to imagine. Interesting reactions from these adults, but Rau’s empassioned appeal certainly made an impact on Christina. Elizabeth’s jealously was amusing (and temporary frightening for Rau). Loved the update. Thanks for writing. PPS.
Hey Kelika…that was DYN-O-MITE! Interesting reaction from Christina, but understandable…the shock of finding out about both parenets. Elizabeth’s uber jealousy reaction to Rau was delicious. You certainly get the feeling from your writing that their meld is very unique and strong. Another two thumbs up Kelika!

I’m thinking this is going to require a whole series of NC-17s soon. Elizabeth and Christina (as always!), Rhaina and Rau (their first time!), and Kirk and Spock (turn a new page, not just a one night stand!). No communal orgies, though,please.
