    Captain’s Quarters

    Rachael simmered with rage.  Her cousin Christina had humiliated her in the arena of Kunnit Kalifee, Marriage or Challenge, and all she desired was revenge. Out of family loyalty Christina could have taken more care with her honor; she fumed, as she paced the cabin assigned to her. 

     

    Elizabeth, the earthling was appealing and should have been hers for the taking.  She was a full-blooded Romulan of Royal blood the idea that Elizabeth would desire a Vulcan diluted by Terran blood over her was illogical.  She could offer the brunette more pleasure than Christina could imagine. 

     

    It was with these thoughts that her sense of righteous indignation was fueled. Rachael convinced herself that she was acting in the best interests of all concerned. She would tear them apart if it were the last thing she did.  This became her private vow.

     

    She had contacted her mother, the Princess Rebecca, enroute to Romulus to plead her case but found her unsympathetic.  Her mother was so delighted to hear of the return of her sisters that her concerns were pushed aside.  She had the gall to remind her that their positions were always held in trust in anticipation of this happy day. 

     

     

    Her mother’s response only intensified her anger.  Did she not understand the humiliation she had suffered?  They would all understand before she was finished.  She had to keep her own hands clean in the process.  The two day journey to Romulus was filled from start to finish with plans entertained revised and discarded until she smiled with satisfaction.

    Elizabeth stepped into her quarters and was immediately aware that the cabin temperature was higher than she was used to.  It was warm.  Closer she realized to Vulcan normal temperature than to Earth or at least the eastern coast of the United States where she grew up and slightly higher than the western coast where she attended Starfleet Academy. 

     

    The fragrance that filled the air was pleasant and one that she had come to associate with Christina.  She now knew it was the incense that burned in the small grate at the edge of the room.  The ship was designed so that certain cabins could be converted into suites.  The Captains quarters were one such space.  In the history of Starfleet there were few occasions where this design was actually deployed.

    11. I’m glad to see this back but I’m jealous I haven’t had a chapter written for me. Ummmmm….dare I point out that I said Rachel needed a severe asskicking? Well, she still does. She needs to get her head screwed on right and I don’t see any other remedy. And no whining about not liking violence this time. She’s asking for it, as you well know since you’re the one that made her do it.

I was armed and ready with my ‘sweet’ request for a one-off to this storyline but I guess you’re spared the “pretty-please-with-sugar-on-top” pleading in light of this wonderful surprise Starfleet mission! ….. ….. Now what is Rachel planning? As long as she doesn’t show up as a carpenter to help renovate the Captain’s Quarters I think our favorite couple will handle whetever she dishes out in Warrior Christina fashion!
