    “Just put her to sleep,” Tina whispered to herself as she neared the brunette.

    "K!" Angelica squealed, making her way down the hall. Bette laughed to herself as she prepared chicken and vegetables for Angelica. As she progressed, she felt an increasing loss of energy as she brought her hand to her head. She continued to mix the vegetables, keeping an eye on the chicken, but remembered her hectic day. She had even helped Tina at work and was up early with Angelica as well. She only hoped she could stay up to greet Tina when she got home, but she knew it would be a long night for her. Her eyes were already becoming heavy.

    "Momma?" Angelica asked, coming from the hallway.

    "Yeah boo?" Bette answered, taking the vegetables off of the heat.

    "I did a colour!" Angelica giggled, forcing a giggle out of Bette as she heard the enthusiastic child.

    "Yes, you did colour," Bette laughed, looking to Angelica’s pitcure. "It’s beautiful." She added, leaning down to Angelica as she took her picture. "Is it for Momma T?"

    "Mmm …" Angelica thought, raising her finger to her chin. Bette tried to hold in her laughter as Angelica decided, cracking up because of her daughter’s silly antics. "Yes!"

    "Oh my!" Bette smiled, "Well, let’s put this on the fridge so Momma T can see it okay?"

    "Yeah yeah!" Angelica clapped, going over to the table.

    "Supper’s almost ready," Bette added, placing the food on Angelica’s plate once the chicken was finished. She sat with Angelica, asking her about her day. She knew Angelica would keep her awake because she was the sweetest, most intelligent and incredibly feisty child she had ever come across – and she loved it.

    After dinner, she let Angelica play some more as she tried desperately to wake herself up. She went to the couch, feeling Angelica curl up beside her almost as soon as she took a seat.

    "Did you put away your toys?" Bette asked, brushing Angelica’s hair away from her eyes.

    "Yeah," Angelica smiled, squeezing in beside Bette with no reason to have to squeeze in at all.

    Bette sighed with laughter, holding Angelica as close as she could, slightly leaning over as well.

    "But no falling asleep here okay baby?" Bette asked, "I have to tuck you in after a little bit of tv okay?"

    2. You know I love everything you write ;) What I don’t understand is why Tina can’t initiate sex with Bette, it’s not like Bette has to do it all the time.why is Tina so shy about it and insecure??? Loved it =D

    4. I think the fact that Tina seems shy is that she knows Bette’s tired in this case (and she might be a little insecure at this point). Just wait and see what happens …
