    Dear Diary

    Dear Diary,

Work’s been really crazy this week.  They keep on handing me these scripts to read that deserve to land straight into the trash, not onto my desk.  I almost feel bad for these aspiring screenwriters, they really think that they can write a movie.  They must either be clueless to their writing abilities or no one ever told them that they sucked.  Let me take that back, they might be good writers but they are not good screenwriters.  What I would give for just one or two good scripts to read.  I am so sick of all these shitty scripts.  Thank god that it’s Thursday, only one day until the weekend.

    Dear Diary,

He sent me flowers today.  Just when I thought that my day was at the lowest it could be my assistant buzzed into my office saying I had a delivery.  So I told Jamie to let them in.  I heard a knock on my door and then this delivery man walked into my office with this beautiful arrangement of wildflowers.  I was speechless.  I told him to place them on my desk and grabbed my purse and tipped him generously.  I hope I made his day like the flowers made mine.  I knew who they were from, Eric, my Eric.  God I love that man.

    Dear Diary,

It’s been a month since Eric sent the flowers.  It’s been an amazing month; it’s like every time that I have a bad day he knows and calls me or sends a note that says the right thing at the right time.  What would I do without him?

    Dear Diary,

It’s been another one of those days in another one of those weeks.  I’m so thankful that I am home sitting comfortably in my bed just relaxing letting the stress of work just drift away.

    Dear Diary,

We got invited to this art opening at some gallery, or shall I say Eric got invited and asked me to come along with him.  He’s so excited.  Apparently it’s at this ‘amazing gallery’ according to him and it’s showcasing this artist named Catherine Opie.  I have never heard of her.  One of the things about Eric that I’ve always found it so amazing is that he would much rather spend the day in galleries than spending the time out with his buddies at a ball game.  I love that my guy is as in touch with the arts as he is.
