IT wasn’t even two minutes after Tina got to work that the light on her desk started blinking.

“-What, Kate?”

“This isn’t Kate.”

For a few hours she had almost forgotten her… Almost.

“hi, how’s your morning?”

Tina was tempted to say, good until now, instead she said. “I’m fine”. Which wasn’t exactly true. She was pleasantly surprised and pleased with Henry’s little anniversary surprise. She had truly believed that her husband was cheating on her and even though she was happy that it turned out that it was all in her mind, and she had left the apartment feeling happy, she had gone home, showered ,and even read a little . She had gone to bed thinking about how sweet her husband was, but it wasn’t her husband that she had dream t about. It wasn’t her husband that had caused her to awake at four in the morning in need of a shower because her underwear was drenched. Bette had confessed that she wanted her in spite of the fact that she was married. If Tina was honest with herself, she’d have to admit that she’d dallied with thoughts of Bette too. She loved Henry ,but it always seemed that Bette was standing between them.

There was no place for Bette in her life. And that’s the reason why Tina had decided to put her out of her mind until now. “What do you want Bette, I’m very busy”

“We’re reviewing the Ocean Breeze commercials this afternoon.” Bette said brusquely. – “Mr. Smith will be here. He asked that you come over. He wants your advice on when to air them.”

“Tina gnawed her lips. “You can advise him on that as well as I can , Bette”

“Yes, but he wants you.”

“Then what’s he paying you for?”, Tina asked nastily. If it was necessary for her to view the commercials she would do it gladly, but she had a notion that her being there was Bette’s idea.

“Do you have an appointment after four o’clock?”

“Yes”, Tina said without consulting her calendar.

“Four thirty?”, Bette asked tightly. Her tone all but said she knew Tina was lying.

What’s the use Tina knew she had to go, she did not want another session with Helena. “Where ?” she asked, with a weary sigh.
