Bette and Tina’s

 The couple were still giggling as they exited the toilet and bumped into Shane. Each had a guilty expression and alongside Dana’s flushed face, it wasn’t hard to guess what they’d been doing. Alice stood waiting for the smart-ass remark that was coming.

“By the sounds of things in there I’m gonna guess you two made up” said Shane with a dirty smirk.

“Jealous Shane?” retorted Alice as she encircled Dana’s waist with her arms and stood facing her lover.

“More like worried I may catch something if I go in there now” Shane chuckled as Alice made a swipe for her but missed when Dana pulled her away and held her in place. The door was closed and Shane was safe until later when Alice would get her revenge.

“You better sleep with one eye open tonight McCutcheon,” Alice hollered into the door and heard laughing coming from the other side.

Dana just smiled and shook her head at her girlfriend’s antics, pulling her away to get some more drinks for them both.

Three martinis, two shots and three beers later and Alice and Dana were equally wasted. The party had died down leaving just the usual gang sitting in Tina and Bette’s living room talking and laughing about their coming out stories. Tina had just finished hers ending it by giving her ‘first, last and forever’ a long lingering kiss earning ‘oohs’ and ‘ahhs’ from the rest of the group. Alice of course felt the need to throw a cushion at them causing a cushion war in the living room.

Pillows were flying back and forth narrowly missing picture frames, ornaments and candles as Dana ducked under Alice for protection and Jenny sat on a chair on her own defending herself pretty good. Bette and Tina were on the loveseat giving as good as they got from Miss Pieszecki and Shane decided to spring from the floor onto Alice causing a pile up with an unfortunate Dana on the bottom. Jenny fell about laughing at the sight as the other five women were haphazardly piled on the couch until the obvious happened and they toppled onto the floor leaving a relieved Dana on the couch who was gasping for breath for the second time that night.
