    Do you really hate me that much? Do you think that I am as superficial and shallow as the woman you describe in that last email?
    Sure, I like to look good. I like being told that I have done an impressive job. That doesnt define everything about me. Who doesnt like to look nice or be praised? I dont think it makes me superficial, Tina, I think it makes me human.
    Im not perfect. I know that. If you are expecting perfection from me then you are always going to be disappointed. I know that I am flawed.
    I thought that you could see beyond the faade that I show the world. I thought you could love me for who I really am. Maybe you cant. Maybe I am not who you want.

    I dont hate you. Ive reread what I wrote and I guess it is pretty harsh. I would be lying if I denied that was how you made me feel.
    When you selected the outfit for me to wear the night we had dinner with your father, you made it very clear that I had to maintain the image you wanted. My choice of clothes wasnt good enough, I wasnt perfect enough to be presentable to you and your father.
    Lets face it Bette. We live in a world where images matter. I work in the film industry which is the most shallow and superficial world on earth. That is why I began working with Oscar. It felt good to do something that wasnt just about looks.
    LA is a city that is all about looks and image. The ***** community is the same way. When someone enters the bar they are automatically judged as either eligible or not worth pursuing based upon how they look. The art world is all about image. Why do people pay thousands of dollars for some ugly paint slapped on canvas? It is so they can say that they can afford the works of this artist. Most people dont buy art because it speaks to them, they buy it for the image of their money and good tastes.
    We both got so caught up in the world that we created: our world of good looks and expensive things. You deal with everything through money. If you hurt someone, spend some money and send them a gift. Everything is about the size of the price tag.
    Im not entirely blaming you. I got caught up in it also.
    I am unsure of so many things, but I know I dont want to go back to that life.

    3. Wow…Tina is so pissed and not thinking clearly…she is right, it is her body but I agree with Chris, Bette does have a right to know…just because she didn’t get T preggers, she is the other parent…so intensely vivid…damn you kick ass…please more very soon!!!

    4. Wow….I don’t know what’s gotten into Tina. Maybe it’s the hormones. If I were Bette, I think I’d have to cut my losses and accept the fact that Tina just doesn’t want to move foreward. Great story!

    11. Tina is wallowing…you caught her character wonderfully, she needs to find her “autonomy” and take responsibility for some of this…I love this story!!!

    12. hmm…maybe tina is being a bitch, but why is her friend taking bette’s side. she should just mind her own business. i mean she told bette that she thinks tina should forgive bette. that is kind of a personal decision. chris is not being a very good friend to tina. that being said, i love this story!

    13. I dont believe that Chris is taking Bette side. But she was with Bette when she got Pg, with the sperm that Bette paid for. and kept at the cryor bank, Tina I believe is just being a pg woman that needs some TLC,. Deep in her heart she knows who can give it to her. She is letting her head rule and not her heart. thanks.
