~Bette’s house~

JL–When she got off the phone, she wasn’t smiling anymore. I came to know that it must have had something to do with Tina and that could be a reason for her unhappiness. She told me she was supposed to be surprising me tonight, and the reason for this was the dress she bought me in New York. I thought I was going to be surprising her with the way the dress hugged my curves and soft breasts. I know she would’ve loved what I had in stored for the evening. Sighing, I exhale and sit Angie down in her chair. Bette and I must talk and get down to an understanding here, because I hope that Tina isn’t going to cot block every time we have a date.

"What happened?" I ask making her look at me when I knew she didn’t want to. I like to read her eyes and lips when she’s talking to me. She looks at me with those eyes…those sorry and worrying eyes. The ones that told me everything from her mood down to what she had on her mind. I could read her like the back of my hand and at times I add that as my fifth sense. "Talk to me" I add walking over to her and wrapping my arms around her. I look up and see tears in her eyes. It must be bad and it could only be one thing…our date. "We’re not going are we?" I ask, looking into her eyes. She shakes her head and says…

"No…" The tears come down more and now I could feel her chest rise and fall frantically.

"Shh…" I say, pulling her close. "It’s ok" I add, feeling her chest rise and fall faster and faster. "We can do something else."

"Like what?" She asked, wiping her eyes. "What I had planned was so sweet. I really wanted to take you out somewhere nice."

"We can still go" I said, making her grill me with an idea. "What time were the reservations?" I asked, making her mouth drop wide open.

"You knew?" She asked me, wondering how I knew without being able to listen to her conversations.
