There was a momentary silence when Bette and Tina returned to the living room. It was a monumental occasion for their family that the two of them were together again under the same roof. While they were gone there was quiet speculation that they might not return and would retire to the bedroom they had shared. The reappearance of the duo dashed that hope. The fact that they seemed to be getting along without the bickering that seemed to happen when they were in the same room was absent and was cause for a collective sigh of relief.
Bette and Tina were loved by their family of choice and blood. Even Helena rooted for them to come to some sort of amicable agreement for Angelica’s sake and for the sake of those gathered in the room.
“So what’s cooking Porter?” Alice challenged. “We haven’t seen you in weeks. If we didn’t invite ourselves over we would still be waiting weeks I suspect.”
“No much Al.” Bette replied easily. “I have more than enough money for the renovations for the designated new Art School building. I am interviewing for Art professors and I like my new position. I’ve been so focused on learning this new venue that I haven’t been doing much else.”
“Wow, that’s great” Shane gave Bette a toast with her beer.
“I thought you had to raise over a half a million dollars for that project.” Jenny frowned. “Now you have more than enough money for it?”
Bette laughed with pleasure. “Yeah Jenny, six hundred thousand dollars to be exact. I had raised three hundred thousand talking up asshole heteromale alumni and it was turning my stomach.”
Tina cringed self-consciously knowing she was sleeping with the enemy per se.
“I was so pissed when Phyllis told me I had to have dinner with another potential donor that was rumored to have some serious cash to contribute.”
“Did you?” Jenny gasped enthralled.
“I did.”
“No.” Now Shane was flabbergasted.
“Baby sis, I’m afraid to imagine where this tale is going.” Kit chimed in.
“So I’m at the St. Regis bar imagining the donor dinner from hell when I get blatantly cruised by one seriously hot woman.”
“Okay this story is picking up. Way to go Bette.” Shane encourages her shero.
Tina starts to feel like the room is spinning. When she was with Bette she got used to women throwing themselves at Bette. It was getting increasingly hard to hear that Bette was now open to this type of flirtation.
Alice in a moment of clarity realized that Tina was not reacting well to this little story and jumped in to stop the flow. “So then your donor showed up and put and end to that little drama, right?”
Everyone sighed a breath of relief each becoming aware that even though they were not together Tina would frequently blow a gasket when anyone cruised Bette too closely.
“No she was the donor and she contributed $750.000 to the School of Art.” Bette declared smugly.
Helena inadvertently stole Bette’s thunder and shocked the room as she blurted out what she just put together. “Rosanna Montclair, she was the donor and the hot date I saw you with at the first viewing of the new Japanese Garden.”
The entire assembly turned and looked at Helena.

Rosanna is fiction and hot. And you can change the direction of the story cos you’re in control. Take a look at EPisode 8 video clip of Bette and Jodi on youtube or didielekker.com Bette looks fucking unbelievable but if you’re a TiBetter you might not like it.
As much as I like Rosanna, my vote still goes to Tibette. While I agree with JB that if Tina and Bette were to get back together on the show, both of them would have to put in a lot of hard work to get there, I feel that here in ff world, you wonderful writers have all done that hard work for them already. And considering how few epis there are each season, “hard work” would probably require only about 5 minutes (or an entire season). What is my point here? If I have one (aimless wandering aside) I suppose it’s that I don’t mind you putting them through their paces, but life would be perfect if at the end of it all, Rosanna ended up with Helena or someone else (Phyllis?), and Tina and Bette … well, you know. Great writing. Thanks!
Three posts in a night, sweet! Now then: I know what I want, and what I’m really hoping for… but for now, I think Rosanna deserves the chance to make Bette happy. She seems to be so far… Tina better be ready to step up, else she’s gonna lose her woman. Thanks, kelika.
Usually its Alice to blirt things out but way to rub it in Tina’s face. Tina is really sarting to realize that she royally f*cked up, and i love it. I love out TiBette but i want B&R to take a chance at it before Tina comes sweeping in and tries to steal Bette. Thanks for the post, PPS.
kelika, just caught up with your story and I love it. I think since their first breakup Tina has not seen Bette as her normal confident self. I am very much a TiBette fan, but if Tina doesn’t shape up and admit to even herself that she still loves and wants Bette, then I say that Bette should go and find her happiness elsewhere. But I truly do hope that Tina does come to her senses and fights to get Bette back. Thanks!

ok so I just got caught up….is this gonna end badly for Ro……she is a stand up gal and I sure don’t want her to be unhappy. Or r u gonna head down that road of actually letting Bette move on without Tina…seeing as she now knows what she messed up?? OH AND BY THE WAY R U UP YET AND POSTING?????
oh this is getting good. poor helena. it looks like alice is rubbing off on her. she obvious didn’t pick up on the vibe from the other women in the room. I was going to ask you after the last chapter if this was a tibette tale, but you answered that in your comments. i am a tibetter but i wouldn’t be mad if bette and rosanna stayed together. rosanna seems to challenge bette which is what she needs. If tina wants her woman back she has to step up her game! can’t wait to see what happens. I may not always comment, but I always read. good work.

Killing me Kelika! WOW, I blinked and 3 new posts. Well, I am rooting for Rosanna. Sorry Tina, you WILL have to fight and fight hard. I mean, come on….were talking Henry here….in yours and Bette’s bed…doing the nasty! I vote for Ro, and for her and Bette getting to know each other more…then we rub it in Tina’s nose so she gets a good whiff (great job Helena, you’re so on your way to a Bachelor of Gossip degree.
