Tina woke up from her bed and rolled over. Bette wasn’t at her side, and she looked over at the clock. It read nine forty-five. She was off at work, and Tina had a phone call to take care of. She slowly got up from the bed and waddled out of the bedroom. She made her way to the counter to grab the phone. She sighed heavily as she began to dial the number to the studio. She put the phone to her ear and rested her hand on her lower back.
“Hello Angela—it’s Tina.”
“Hey Tina. How are you?”
“I’m good.”
“How’s the pregnancy going?”
“Very well, I’m ready to burst.” Tina smiled. “I was wondering is Todd in.”
“Actually he just walked in not too long ago. Hang on a second,” Angela put Tina on hold, and Tina walked over to the table and took a seat. A few minutes later, Todd answered the phone.
“Todd Richards,” Tina sighed.
“Todd, it’s Tina.”
“Well hello Tina, how’s the maternity leave?”
“It was going great until I heard a few things.”
“What things have you heard?”
“Don’t play stupid Todd. Jenny wants to take me off the movie. Is this true?”
“No, we had a meeting with Jenny, and she went wild about not wanting you on the project, but we told her that we weren’t taking you off of it.”
“Then what happened?”
“She said that if we didn’t get rid of you, she was pulling the plug on the movie, and she was going to another studio.” Todd sighed. “We told her not to do that, and we would work something out.”
“Like what?” Tina began to get antsy, and Todd hesitated. “Todd what did you do?”
“We told her that we would talk to you and see if you would want to leave voluntarily.”
“You’re fuckin’ joking right? I’m not quitting from this project. You better fuckin’ figure something out because you and Jenny put me through so much stress working on this damn movie. I’m not going down without a fight, you better believe with it Todd. You’re not getting rid of me that quickly.”
“Tina—I’m sorry.”
“Yeah, you will be sorry. Not figure this shit out, or I’m choking every dollar out of you that you owe me still.” Tina hung up the phone and slammed her hand on the table. “SHIT!” Angelica walked out rubbing her eyes. Tina sighed heavily and looked down at her little girl. “Hey baby girl,” she picked up her daughter and sat her on her lap. She kissed the top of her head.

I’m with Tina sue thier asses if they don’t have a good reason for trying to intemidate her into leaving the project. I am sure Joyce would drool over a big money case like this one could be. Tina should pay someone to teach Jenny a little respect. PPS
Tina so does not need this aggrevation right night. I’m with the gang, theirs ways to get rid of Jenny. Todd is an asshole. Love the girls and Bette for taking care of Tina.

Does T leaving Jenny’s picture mean she has to leave the studio? I mean with all the shit Jenny’s dishing out if it was me I’d move aside and let some other producer or whatever T’s job is handle it. Jenny’s using her past relationship with T etc to write the story, the screenplay and the friggin’ movies and so she lords it over T. But its bound to ‘flop’, if I was T I’d disassociate myself now & keep my good name & reputation in the industry rather than being remembered as one of the ‘dimwits’ that let Jenny walk all over them. What is T going to do when she has the babies? stay home or work?
Poor Tina, jenny just driving her crazy here and hope you take her out of the picter soon, so Tina can relaxed. And Im with OneStorm1, please post more, thanks!
Surely Todd will grow a set of balls and tell Jenny to jump in the ocean because Tina stays on the job. Jenny is a bit of a nutcase and Todd should know that and pull rank on her because no other studio will want a picture that has had so much strife to begin with, it has to be new in the studio world of production by now. Jenny can’t get the financial backing to do the movie without a big studio behind her and if Tina’s studio pulls or Jenny tries to take the movoe away they should just make a couple of calls and that would take care of Jenny and her picture.PPS
Hello ACB, What an afternoon, two great chapters from you. I love this one. I think now is definitely a time to keep Tina away from any fire arms. Jenny will be right in her sights. We would all like to fire an full clip into Jenny but I hope that her time will come soon. Payback can be a bi-a-tch. I just hope that the time fits the crime. So please make Jenny bleed. OK enough ranting now. The connection between Bette and Tina was sweet s Bette, worried about Tina, asked Shane to go round thus avoiding seeing Tina in jail charged with murder. Someone needs to smack Jenny upside the head. She is delirious with stupidity. If Tina is gone then I hope the movie tanks and loses the studio millions of dollars. Of course this is because Tina is not there to fix the mistakes done by Jenny.
