    Summary:
    Bette navigates tense moments with Michelle as Tina’s frustration at Alphaville reaches a boiling point.

    Alice gasps and playfully wags her finger at Tina. “Naughty Kennard….”

     

    Tina giggles as she looks at Alice. “But I still wouldn’t be in her chair when she gets out here, if I were you.”

     

    Alice waves her off again, reaching for another piece of fruit.

     

    Tina lifts a brow. “There is plenty more in the kitchen.”

     

    Alice shrugs. “Not hungry.”

     

    A few beats pass before the back gate creaks open again.

     

    “Hey… boss?” Dena’s voice calls out, a little hesitant as she steps onto the patio, clutching a notebook.

     

    Tina looks over, deadpan. “Is there a sign in the front yard that says, ‘come on back’?”

     

    Dena smiles, pointing behind her. “I heard voices, so I just…. came back.” She holds up the notebook. “I got what you asked for.”

     

    Tina’s expression softens as she takes it. “Thanks.”

     

    Angie waves. “Hi!”

     

    Dena beams. “Hi. I’m Dena. What’s your name?”

     

    “Angelica.” Angie then points to Mickey. “That’s my brother Mickey…”

     

    “Nice to meet you,” Dena says, offering a gentle handshake before ruffling Mickey’s hair. “Hey, buddy.”

     

    Alice points to herself. “I’m Alice. Your boss’s most treasured confidant.”

     

    Tina smirks into her coffee.

     

    Dena shakes Alice’s hand politely. “Nice to meet you.”

     

    Tina leans back in her chair, crossing her legs. “Alright, what’s on my schedule today?”

     

    Dena opens her tablet, instantly switching into work mode. “Okay, so, 9:30, you’ve got a pre-production alignment meeting for Firestorm Protocol with the director, line producer, and VFX supervisor to go over the revised budget breakdown and lock in the updated shooting schedule.”

     

    Tina nods slightly.

     

    “11:00, you’ve got casting approvals with the studio…final discussions on the female lead shortlist and supporting roles.”

     

    “Mm-hmm,” Tina says thoughtfully.

     

    “Then at 1:00, lunch with marketing, they want to start shaping early campaign positioning based on the script revisions you suggested.”

     

    Tina raises a brow. “Already?”

     

    Dena nods. “They’re moving fast.”

     

    “Of course they are,” Tina mutters.

     

    “2:00, you’ve got a call with legal about location contracts and insurance coverage for the desert shoot,” Dena continues. “And at 3:00, you have the meeting with Aaron…”
