Everything to Everybody Chptr. 23
Bette woke first to the feeling of Tina’s soft stomach moving her head. Tina’s right hand rested on top of Bette’s head as their bodies and heart rested entwined with each other. It made her smile knowing Tina was there, like waking up to a fantasy. Bette felt the need to share with Tina something she always felt was a beautiful way to greet the day. She wanted to wake Tina by slowly kissing her neck and whispering her name in her ear, but her better judgement told her Tina was tired. Bette decided to go to the attic alone and watch the sunrise into another day. The noise of the attic door opening woke Tina, that and the feeling of a cold quilt covering her where Bette was her blanket.
Bette sat in the attic feeling at peace as the sunlight fell upon her face. Tina walked up the steps to see Bette leaning back in a chair with her eyes closed feeling the sun stroke her face.
“Hey baby.” Bette said without turning around but she knew Tina could sense the smile form on her face from her presence.
“I’m sorry, sweetie did you want to be alone?”
“No, no, I wanted to share this with you but I thought you were too sleepy. Please baby, I would love for you to sit with me.” Bette said turning around and offering her hand to Tina. She gladly accepted and took a seat on Bette’s lap and watched as the sun seemed to personally recognize them. It was as if it exposed itself in it’s entirety when they were together.
“I’m nervous about Melito. I wonder if he’ll hate me for taking his mother out of his life.” Bette knew Tina could tell something was bothering her, so rather than having it coaxed out of her, she just said what she felt.
“I know baby, you just have to trust that in the end he’ll know that you did it because you love him.”
“He’s only 2yrs old and he still needs his mother, ya know? He keeps calling for her and they keep telling me that she’s still using. I feel like… I don’t know.” Bette said as Tina took her head into her bosom and held her as Bette’s grip around her waist brought her closer.

i hate that life is getting in the way of this story
Netta, baby! Where have you been? I’m tired of seeing all you authors copping out because of some lame TV show that broke it’s promise. This is where the action is and I’m glad to see you back. I like your Tina’s sense of humor. Now I’ll race you to the second posting.
Good chapter!
