    Thats what friends are for see you soon! Cecilia hung up and shoved her cell phone in her bag. It would be pretty much useless for the rest of her trip. When they arrived and she got out of the vehicle, she looked at Sebastian with appreciation.

    OK Ill take care of everything here. You just go take care of your woman, he responded with a wink. Cecilia shut the door and ran inside the airport. Once she found the appropriate personnel, her transfer onto the plane was smooth.

    Her flight was restless. Cecilia tried to sleep because she knew that she should at least try. But as soon as she would doze off, nightmares about Marina being beaten and shot flooded her subconscious. She arrived in Paris four hours after leaving Cairo, and her transfer there was just as effortless Melissa had done a perfect job of making last second arrangements.

    Can we get you anything else Miss Hammond? a stewardess asked before taking her seat.

    No Im fine thank you, she responded absently. She couldnt stop thinking about Marina. Every time she pictured the beautiful woman bruised and bloody, her stomach knotted up. I should have come back earlier better yet; I should have never left NEVER again NEVER! Cecilia sat silently berating herself until she finally dozed off her sleep still tormented.

    Miss Ferrer Miss Ferrer? Marina moaned and tried to turn her head away from the annoying light that was being flashed in her eyes. Good at least shes finally responding. Miss Ferrer? Can you hear me? Marina uttered a barely audible yes. Good good do you know where you are? Marinas eyes fluttered open and she tried to look around as they slowly began to focus. She replied, but the doctor couldnt understand what she was saying. He turned to the nurse next to him, I dont know what she just said.

    6. What a tender and loving chapter. We all should say Thank-yous to our friends. Sometimes we just for get how important they are to us. Yes I dido what seahurst mentioned that Marina could find someone better in her life. I just felt that Marina had some bad history and has insecurity issues, so she would go after the ones she knew would be easily taken with her beauty and her accent. Excellent chapter, it is one that I look for when I have time to read them.
