“Jodi you and Kelly are the two most important people in my life. I love you both dearly and I want you two to be friends. You know since Kelly lives in Europe for much of the year we don’t see each other too often but the special bond is never broken no matter how long between visits.” Tina stood between the two women and embraced them both.

“Well Kelly I hope we can spend this next month getting to know each other before Tina and I leave for our honeymoon.” Jodi said pouring on the charm.

“I’d like that.” Kelly responded.

“Get together you two I want to take a picture.” Tina said producing a small digital camera that Kelly hadn’t noticed she was holding.

“Tina you know I hate taking pictures especially when I’ve just stepped off a plane. I’m a mess.”

“You look beautiful darling.” Tina said already framing the photo.

“I don’t feel too hot.” Kelly protested.

“Kelly you look great. Come on step in closer.” Jodi chimed in then pulled Kelly into a tight hug. She liked the feel of the woman standing so close to her and her scent was intoxicating. Kelly felt something too but tried to ignore it as they both turned their attention back to Tina.

“OK big smile for the camera. Say cheese.”

They both smiled brightly for the camera. “Cheese”

“Ah that’s a great shot.” Tina said looking at the image on the screen of Kelly and Jodi.

For the next month the three women were inseparable and when time permitted Matthew would join them for their outings. Jodi and Kelly bonded like old friends that had known each other forever. Tina was thrilled that her wife and dearest friend were so comfortable and affectionate with each other.

“Those two seem to be getting on well.” Matthew commented to Tina as he watched Jodi and Kelly sitting across the room in deep conversation.

“I know and I’m so glad. I must admit I was a bit worried that Kelly wouldn’t like her.” Tina said oblivious to what was happening right before her eyes.

“Where are you two honeymooning?” Matthew asked as the two couples relaxed after dinner one evening.

“We’re spending six weeks island hoping in the South Pacific. Originally we’d planned three weeks in Europe but Jodi talked me into doing this instead. If this doesn’t prove how much I love her I don’t know what will. You know how I feel about being on water.” Tina directed her comment to Kelly.
