Falling At Your Feet – Chapter 9

Tina woke up in Bette’s arms. She groaned as she remembered what day it was; the first day of the new school year. She stood up and stretched her arms. This house had become her second home and soon, she was making her way to the bathroom to get ready.
She heard strange sounds as she passed Kit’s bedroom. Strange, yet familiar sounds.
    “Oh – Beeeeeeeeen”
Tina quickly went for the bathroom, trying to get the image of Bette’s older sister and her married boyfriend being at it out of her mind.
She jumped under the shower and let her thoughts flow freely. She wondered who it was that Bette was so in love with. This night, she had again not fallen asleep until the early morning. She had tossed and turned and Tina could have sworn she heard her cry when she was probably having a nightmare.

Tina smirked as she thought about the confession Helena had made to her earlier that week. She was head over heels in love with Alice. It all seemed like a crazy merry-go-round. Alice was in love with Dana, but she was together with Angus to make Dana jealous. Dana was oblivious to that and was in love with Lara, who was only with her to make Helena jealous. Helena couldn’t care less about that since she was so into Alice. It was just a chain.

It was no wonder that Helena Peabody didn’t exactly like Angus Partridge. She was more than willing to do anything to break Alice and Angus apart. That was where she met Tina’s wish, as she found herself falling deeper for Angus with each new day. He wasn’t like the other guys. He wasn’t ashamed of the fact that he always hung out with his girlfriend and her gay friends – the only straight one was Tina. He was very sweet and Tina knew it was very early to say that, but she was sure he’d be a great father. Not that they were together, or anything. And on top of all that, he was a musician. The Lord knew she had a weak for musicians.

When she was finished showering and dressing, she went back to Bette’s bedroom to find the brunette still asleep.
“Hey – Bette – wake up. You don’t want to be late on your first day of school.”
Bette wriggled and murmured with a happy smile on her face. “Mhm. Tina, baby, you know I love you, right? I’d do anything for you, just tell me what you need and I’ll get it. Anything. You’re my life, honey.”

    1. ”that’s Jenny. She’s the school psycho. Last year she had a fake pregnancy, accused Jeremy to be the father and leaving her. After that, she seemed to be into girls. She’s related to the principal, Jodi Lerner, really crazy as well. It seems to be running in the family.” – LOL!
