Tina had just finished work. She drove into the runway noticing Bette wasn’t home. She remembered that the kids had the dentist and Bette agreed to take them as Tina didn’t know when she would finish. She approached the door hearing the phone ring she quickly entered the house.

“Hello…This is Tina…Oh Hi Lara…What are you kidding me…Shit…”

Bette was walking in the door with the kids. The kids too their Jackets off and Bette told them to go do their homework. As usual Malaci huffed all the way to the study. Bette walked over to Tina and put her arm round her waist.

“I just didn’t expect it that’s all…Yes ill tell Bette…Thanks I guess…You too…Bye”

Tina hung up the phone and looked at Bette.

“Paul’s dead” She said walking into the kitchen.

“What seriously” Bette asked following Tina into the Kitchen.

“Yes apparently he was in a car crash in the early hours of this morning” Tina replied making herself and Bette a coffee.

“Oh” Bette said.

“I hated him Bette but I didn’t want him dead…I wouldn’t wish that on anyone” Tina said handing Bette a cup.

“Well I’m sorry T but I’m happy…I wished him dead for what he did to you” Bette said taking a sip of her coffee Tina just looked at her.

“Being dead means he gets away with it easily…If he was alive maybe he could have been punished” Tina said looking at Bette.

“I understand that T but you would have to relive it all and that would hurt you…I hate seeing you hurt…Im glad we don’t need to go through courts just to make sure our son is safe and that he couldn’t get near him.”

“Yeah I suppose your right” Tina sighed. “How did the kids get on at the dentist?”

“Yeah both of them had perfect teeth surprisingly” Bette laughed.

“Well that’s a shock you’re forever spoiling them” Tina said

“There only young once” Bette said in her defence.

“Did you do the list for the wedding?” Tina asked

“Well…erm…you see” Bette said looking everywhere apart from Tina.

“BETTE!” Tina glared at her.
